Built to sit safely out of sight
This is a complete, ready-to-wire assembly rather than a bare transformer: the 24V constant voltage driver comes mounted inside a black steel junction box that keeps your 120V splices enclosed and organized. The finish is black, so it blends into ceiling plenums, cabinet backs, millwork chases and above-grid installations. With the power supply measuring 18 cm x 6 cm x 3.5 cm and the junction box 35 cm x 7.5 cm x 3.6 cm, the whole unit stays slim enough to tuck into tight service spaces where a bulky brick simply will not fit.
Dimming that actually behaves
The real reason people choose this dimmable LED driver is the dimming curve. It is engineered to work with any recent standard 120V AC wall dimmer and takes your single-colour LED strips smoothly from 100% to 20%, without the audible buzz or the flicker that ruins an otherwise beautiful cove. Just as important, it requires no minimum load: short accent runs, a single metre under a shelf or a small display case will still dim properly instead of dropping out or strobing at the bottom of the range. That makes specification much easier when your strip lengths vary from room to room.

Compatibility and wiring notes
Use this driver with 24V single-colour LED strip lights only, and size your run so the total strip wattage stays within the 60W output. The 24V 2.5A output is constant voltage, so several strip segments can be fed in parallel from the same supply as long as you respect that total. Dimming is done on the line side, with a standard wall dimmer feeding the 100 - 120V AC input — there is no low-voltage dimmer or signal wire to run. If your project uses RGB, RGBW or CCT adjustable (tunable white) tape, this is not the right choice: those need a non-dimmable driver plus an LED controller, and the same applies if you want to drive single-colour tape through a controller. Because it is a Class 2 supply, the low-voltage side keeps installation simple for both electricians and experienced DIY renovators.
Where it earns its keep, and documentation
Think under-cabinet kitchen lighting on the same dimmer as the pot lights, a bedroom headboard cove, stair and hallway night lighting, bathroom mirror backlighting, retail shelf and display case accents, restaurant bar fronts, office reception desks and hotel corridors — anywhere a client says "I just want it dimmer at night." Its cETLus listing for Canada and the USA means it belongs in both residential and commercial projects on either side of the border.
