24V 5M IP20 BENDABLE 2835 WHITE LED STRIP - 60 LEDS/M (STRIP ONLY)

24V 5M IP20 BENDABLE 2835 WHITE LED STRIP - 60 LEDS/M (STRIP ONLY)

SKU: 24BND2835SO-3000

Brand: LED MONTREAL

Ever tried to light up a curved sign, a round column or a set of channel letters with a regular LED strip and ended up with kinks, dead LEDs and a lot of frustration? This is the fix. The 24V 5M IP20 Bendable 2835 White LED Strip from LED MONTREAL (SKU 24BND2835SO-3000) uses a special M-shaped PCB that lets the tape bend sideways as well as up and down, so it follows curves, corners and odd shapes that stiff LED strip lights simply refuse to take. Whether you call it bendable LED tape, a flexible LED light strip, a ribbon or side-bend strip lighting, it's the go-to for backlighting letters, halo-lit logos, curved cove details, round mirrors, arched niches and display cases — anywhere your LED strip lighting has to turn instead of run straight.

This is the strip-only version, so you build the run exactly the way your project needs it. You get a full 5 meters of tape with 60 LEDs per meter using Epistar 2835 SMD chips on a 2-ounce circuit board, drawing 9W per meter at 24V DC and putting out a typical 742 lumens per meter. The colour is 3000K warm white with a CRI 80+ for natural, flattering light, spread over a wide 120° beam angle. It measures only 6 mm wide and 1.2 mm high, hides in the smallest reveal, carries 3M self-adhesive backing, and is rated for 50,000+ hours. It is cULus certified for Canada and the USA (E498952), rated iP20 for indoor use, and it is dimmable with a low voltage dimmer/remote combo or with a dimmable power supply paired with a 120V AC dimmer.

Homeowners use it for backlit house numbers, curved bulkheads, stair nosings and vanity surrounds; contractors and shop owners reach for it for channel letters, retail displays, reception desks, bar fronts and curved ceiling coves. Because it has no silicone coating (that's what keeps it so flexible), keep it indoors and away from damp areas. Plan on a 24V power supply sized at about 11W per meter, cut the tape at every 6 LEDs (10 cm) on the marked lines, and solder multi-braid wire to the exposed copper pads when you need to join sections — there are no quick connectors for this profile. Ready to light the shapes nobody else can? Add it to your project and start bending.

Built to bend where other strips break
The whole idea behind this bendable LED strip is the M-shaped printed circuit board. Instead of a straight copper trace that cracks the moment you twist it, the zig-zag layout absorbs the movement, so the tape can curve left and right on its own plane as well as over and under an edge. That means one continuous run of light around a circle, an oval mirror, a rounded reception desk or the inside of a channel letter, with no visible splices and no strings of short segments cut and soldered together. Epistar 2835 SMD chips sit on a 2-ounce circuit board at 60 LEDs per meter, a density that keeps the dotting soft and the light even along the run.

Light quality that flatters the space
At 3000K warm white with CRI 80+, this LED tape light gives skin tones, wood and paint a warm, welcoming look — perfect for hospitality, retail and residential interiors where cold light would feel clinical. The 120° lighting angle spreads the output wide, so when the strip is tucked into a cove or behind a panel, the wash on the surface is smooth rather than striped. Typical luminous flux is 742 lumens per meter, which is plenty for accent, backlighting and decorative work, and more than enough to make a sign or logo read clearly from across a room.

Wiring, dimming and installation tips
Run it on 24V DC and size your driver at roughly 11W per meter so the supply is never pushed to its limit — for the full 5 m reel that means planning the power accordingly. The strip arrives with a female DC plug (17 cm) at one end and two bare wires (17 cm) at the other, so hooking up a 24V power supply is straightforward. Cut only on the marked lines, every 6 LEDs (10 cm), and when you need to rejoin sections, solder multi-braid wire directly to the exposed copper pads: no quick connectors exist for this profile. Dimming works two ways — a low voltage dimmer/remote combo on the DC side, or a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer on the line side. Heat dissipation is not necessary for typical use; in a commercial environment, mounting on an aluminum profile or another heat-conductive surface is the safer call. The 3M adhesive backing sticks well to clean, dry, smooth surfaces — wipe with alcohol first, and add clips or channel in high-traffic spots.

Where it earns its keep in Canadian projects
Think backlit channel letters and halo-lit signage for a storefront, warm cove lighting around a curved ceiling bulkhead in a condo, a glow behind a round bathroom mirror, illuminated curves on a bar front or podium, display case and shelf accents in a boutique, or lit house numbers in a protected entry. Keep in mind the iP20 rating and the absence of silicone coating: this tape belongs indoors, away from bathrooms splash zones, garages that get damp and anything outdoors.
