Built for clean, controlled low-voltage power
The 010DIMP96 is a constant voltage LED driver: it holds a steady 24V DC output while the current varies with the load, which is exactly what LED tape needs. It is supplied with its own junction box, so line-voltage wiring stays enclosed and the low-voltage side comes out neatly toward your strips. The driver body measures 23 cm x 7 cm x 4.5 cm and the junction box measures 37.7 cm x 7.5 cm x 5.3 cm — dimensions worth checking against your cabinet soffit, millwork cavity or ceiling access panel before you frame anything in. As a Class 2 LED driver, its low-voltage output is the friendly, easy-to-run side of the installation.
Dimming that actually goes to zero
Not all dimming is equal. With a 0-10V control signal, brightness is managed by a separate low-voltage pair rather than by chopping the AC waveform, so the result is a smooth, continuous fade from 100% to 0% with no audible buzz and no flicker on camera. Just as important, this driver does not require a minimum load, a common frustration with other dimmable LED drivers where short strip runs refuse to dim or drop out at the bottom of the curve. Please note again: this unit responds only to 0-10V dimmers and 0-10V control systems. Standard TRIAC or ELV wall dimmers will not work with it, so confirm your controls before wiring.

Compatibility and installation tips
Use this driver with 24V single colour LED strips and keep the total connected load at or below 96W; on bigger projects, split the installation across several drivers and feed each section separately rather than pushing one unit to its limit. Run the 0-10V control pair from your wall dimmer or control system to the driver's dimming leads, keeping polarity in mind, and keep low-voltage output runs reasonably short to avoid voltage drop at the far end of the tape. Mount the driver where it can breathe — inside a vented cabinet, above a removable ceiling panel or in a service cavity — and always leave it accessible for future service. Wiring should follow the Canadian Electrical Code and, where required, be completed by a licensed electrician.
Where it earns its keep, and the documentation
In homes, this 0-10V LED driver is the quiet hero behind under-cabinet kitchen lighting, island and toe-kick accents, cove lighting in living rooms, stairwell strips, bathroom vanity glow and home theatre rooms where the light has to drop to nothing on cue. In commercial spaces, it belongs in retail display cases and shelving, hotel corridors, restaurant banquettes, clinics, offices and reception millwork — anywhere a building already speaks 0-10V and the strip lighting has to follow the same scenes. The full technical PDF, 0-10V UNIVERSAL DIMMABLE LED DRIVER 96W, is available in the Documentation tab of this page for exact input, output, certification and dimension details before you order.
