LED Mirrors

An LED mirror does two jobs at once: it replaces the plain mirror above the vanity and it replaces the light fixture beside it. Our LED mirror collection brings together 48 models from PARIS MIRROR, a North American brand, in four styles: front-lit, backlit, lighted medicine cabinets and decorative round or oval mirrors. Whether you are renovating a master bathroom, finishing a condo ensuite, refreshing a powder room or outfitting hotel rooms and a salon, there is an LED bathroom mirror here that fits the wall, the vanity and the electrical plan.

Front-lit, backlit, cabinet or decorative: which LED mirror do you need?

The four families light a room differently. Choose by what you want the mirror to do.

  • Front-lit LED mirrors (27 models): frosted bands on the mirror face push light forward onto your face. Shadow-free and even, this is the lighted vanity mirror for makeup, shaving and grooming. Galaxy, Harmony, Chic, Epure, Opera, Luna Nera, Trifold and Decagonal belong here.
  • Backlit mirrors: the LEDs sit behind the panel and wash the wall with a soft halo, so the mirror appears to float. Ideal for a spa feel, a relaxing ensuite or a hotel bathroom where overhead light already exists. The Original and Frosted series come in rectangle, capsule, round and oval shapes.
  • LED medicine cabinets: a lighted mirror door over a mirrored interior with adjustable glass shelves and soft-close hinges. The Galaxy, Harmony and Verano cabinets hide toiletries without giving up vanity light. Sizes run from 15×30 to 72×30 inches.
  • Decorative LED mirrors: round and oval statement pieces (Chic Round, Chic Oval, Galaxy Round, Harmony Round, Original Round and Oval), including RGB colour options, from 24×24 to 40×40 inches. They work in a hallway, a bedroom or a restaurant washroom as well as a bathroom.

Features that make a difference every morning

Not every lighted mirror offers the same options. These are the ones you will find across this collection, as listed on the manufacturer spec sheets and product pages.

  • Selectable colour temperature. Most models are offered in 3000K warm white, 6000K daylight, an adjustable CCT version (2700K to 6000K) and an RGBW version. Warm light for a relaxing bath, cool light for makeup that looks right outdoors.
  • Dimming. The mirrors dim with any standard MLV or TRIAC wall dimmer; several models also offer touch-activated controls on the glass.
  • Anti-fog. Optional heated pads behind the glass keep the reflection clear after a hot shower, so an anti-fog mirror is ready when you are.
  • High colour accuracy. CRI 90+ LEDs render skin tones faithfully, which matters for grooming and makeup.
  • Real light output. A 20×26 Harmony draws 29 W and delivers 3450 lumens; a 24×36 Galaxy draws 45 W for 4960 lumens; a 15×30 Galaxy cabinet gives 3810 lumens from 33 W. For many bathrooms, the mirror alone is enough vanity light.
  • Long service life. The LEDs are rated up to 120,000 hours, and the light fittings are replaceable through the manufacturer.

Shapes, sizes and installation

Rectangular mirrors can be hung vertically or horizontally (a wall-hang Z-bar is included), so one model suits a single vanity or a wide double vanity. Round, oval, capsule, arch and decagonal shapes add character. Frosted editions soften the edge light; framed Chic models come in black, gold and other finishes, while frameless models disappear into the wall. Across the collection, sizes range from 15×30 inches up to 85×40 and 100×45 inches on the largest Harmony formats, with depths of about 1.6 to 1.7 inches for mirrors and 5.9 inches for cabinets.

Every mirror is surface-mounted and hard-wired: 110 V input, a 3-foot lead, controlled by a wall switch or a compatible dimmer. Plan the junction box behind the mirror before the tile goes up, and have a licensed electrician make the connection. Medicine cabinets hang vertically and need wall space for the door swing.

Safe in a wet room

PARIS MIRROR illuminated and backlit mirrors are IP44 rated and the complete assembly is UL and cUL certified for Canadian bathrooms. The glass is safety-backed. The manufacturer specifies permanent installation and excludes saunas, steam rooms and shower enclosures. For a commercial project, the spec sheet for each size is attached to its product page for your electrical inspector or designer.

How to size an LED mirror to your vanity

The general rule: the mirror should be about as wide as the vanity, or slightly narrower, and centred on it. A 24-inch vanity pairs naturally with a 24×32 or 24×36 mirror; a 60-inch double vanity calls for a 60×36, 60×40 or 60×45 format, or two mirrors over two sinks. Check three things before ordering:

  • Height: the mirror should clear the backsplash and the faucet, and the top should sit above the tallest user's eye line.
  • Side clearance: leave room for sconces if you keep them, or let the mirror carry all the light.
  • Wall: the junction box must land behind the mirror, not beside it.

Care and cleaning

Switch the mirror off, then wipe with a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth. The manufacturer advises against cleaning agents and abrasives on any finish, against striking the glass with hard objects, and against placing very hot or cold items near the glass. Treated this way, a lighted mirror stays clear and flicker-free for years.

The brand we carry: PARIS MIRROR

Every LED mirror in Canada on this page is made by PARIS MIRROR, whose catalogue covers front-lit, backlit, cabinet and decorative mirrors. Families include Galaxy, Harmony, Chic, Epure, Opera, Luna Nera, Trifold, Baroque, Aurora, Verano and the Original and Frosted backlit lines.

Find your LED mirror

Start with the style, then the size, then the light option. Browse front-lit, backlit, medicine cabinet and decorative mirrors, filter by dimension and colour temperature, and open the spec sheet on each product page. Electricians, contractors and designers: the model numbers follow one logic (family, width, height, light option), which makes a multi-unit order straightforward.

FAQ

What is the difference between a backlit mirror and a front-lit LED mirror?

A backlit mirror places the LEDs behind the panel so light spills onto the wall around the mirror, giving a soft halo and ambiance. A front-lit mirror has frosted light bands on the face that aim light at you. Front-lit is better for makeup and shaving; backlit is better for atmosphere or as a second layer of light.

Can an LED bathroom mirror replace the vanity light?

Often, yes. A 24×36 Galaxy produces 4960 lumens with CRI 90+ at face height, which is more usable light than many sconces. For a large bathroom, you can still add ceiling lighting on a separate switch.

Are these mirrors safe in a humid bathroom?

Yes. They are IP44 rated and UL/cUL certified as a complete assembly. They are not intended for saunas, steam rooms or inside a shower enclosure.

Do LED mirrors plug in or need hard-wiring?

The PARIS MIRROR models here are hard-wired to a 110 V supply, with a 3-foot lead, and controlled from a wall switch or a compatible MLV/TRIAC dimmer. A junction box behind the mirror is the standard installation.

How does the anti-fog function work?

A thin heating pad bonded behind the glass gently warms the surface so steam does not condense on it. It is offered as an option on many models; look for it in the product options.

What size LED medicine cabinet fits a small bathroom?

The 15×30 Galaxy cabinet is the most compact in the range, with a 5.9-inch depth, and still delivers 3810 lumens. Larger cabinets go up to 72×30 inches for double vanities.
