Built to live outside
The 24V3AETLPSU is a sealed, potted-style outdoor LED driver built around an IP67 enclosure with waterproof cable entries at both ends. That rating is the reason this unit can sit under a deck, inside a gazebo post, in an unheated garage or along a trailer frame without you worrying about splashes, dust or condensation. A mounting bracket on each side of the case lets you anchor it with two screws to a stud, a joist, a fence post or an aluminum frame, so the driver stays put and the cables never take the strain. Overall size is 16.7 cm long (19 cm including brackets) x 4.7 cm wide x 3.4 cm high, compact enough to hide in a soffit, a cabinet toe-kick or a wide aluminum channel.
Clean, constant 24V power
This is a constant voltage supply: it holds a steady 24V DC output no matter how much of its capacity you use, which is exactly what 24V LED strip lights need for even brightness from the first LED to the last. With 3A / 72W on tap, you can run a healthy length of tape, or split the output to feed two shorter runs from a single point. Keep your total load comfortably under 72W and the driver will run cooler and last longer. Do keep in mind that this model is not dimmable, so if your project calls for dimming, plan for a dimmable driver or an in-line low-voltage dimmer placed on the 24V side.

Wiring and installation
Installation is refreshingly straightforward. The 120V AC side arrives as a finished power cable, and the low-voltage side gives you two distinct leads: positive in red, negative in black. Match red to the + pad or wire of your 24V LED strip and black to the −, and you are lit. Because it is a Class 2 supply, the output is limited in power, which simplifies low-voltage wiring on residential and light commercial jobs. Good practice: mount the driver as close as practical to the start of the strip to limit voltage drop, keep the unit out of direct standing water even though it is IP67 rated, leave a drip loop in the cable, and respect the cETLus listing by not cutting or modifying the factory cables.
Where it earns its keep, and what comes with it
Think patio and deck perimeters, gazebos and pergolas, cottage porches, boathouses, RVs, trailers and food trucks, garage workbenches, landscape steps and planters. Indoors, the same driver quietly powers kitchen under-cabinet lighting, pantry and closet strips, retail display cases, bar and restaurant coves, sign boxes and reception desk accents. Contractors often install several of these along a long run instead of one large driver, keeping voltage drop low and simplifying service.
