Built to live outdoors
Everything about this IP67 LED driver is aimed at survival. The body is a sealed, robust enclosure with waterproof cable entries, so water, dust and debris stay out while the electronics stay dry. A mounting bracket on each side means you're not zip-tying a power supply to a rafter and hoping for the best: you screw it down flat against a wall, a post, a deck frame or the inside of a cabinet, and it stays put. The slim profile — 16 cm long, 2.9 cm wide and 2.2 cm high, or 18.2 cm including the brackets — lets it disappear into soffits, toe-kicks, valances and aluminum channels where a bulky brick would never fit.
Clean, constant 24V power
This is a constant-voltage 24V DC power supply rated at 1A, for 24W of usable output. Constant voltage is exactly what 24V LED tape wants: the strip draws only the current it needs, and the voltage stays steady from one end of the run to the other. Two distinct ports keep wiring obvious — the 120V AC input side with its power cable, and the 24V DC output side with a positive (red) lead and a negative (black) lead. It is a Class 2 device, the category electricians look for when they want simple, safe low-voltage wiring, and it is cETLus listed for Canada and the USA, so it passes inspection on both residential and commercial jobs.

Installation and compatibility
Sizing is the whole game with a LED strip power supply. Add up the wattage of the LED tape you plan to run and keep the total under the 24W available; leaving a little headroom is always a good habit for long-term reliability. Connect red to the positive pad of your strip and black to the negative pad — reversing them simply means the strip won't light. Because this unit is not dimmable, pair it with fixtures or tape you want at full output, or plan a separate switched circuit; don't put it on a wall dimmer. Mount it where the cable run to the first LED is as short as practical to limit voltage drop, and on outdoor installs, point the cable entries downward so water drips away from the connections. It works with any 24V DC constant-voltage LED load within its rating: single-colour tape, dot-free strips, cove ribbons, small sign modules, cabinet pucks and low-voltage accent fixtures.
Where it earns its keep, and documentation
Homeowners use it for gazebo and pergola lighting, deck stairs, garden walls, pool-house soffits, cottages, trailers and RVs. Contractors and small businesses use it for storefront sign boxes, display cases, patio bars, kiosk lighting and under-counter strips in restaurants — anywhere a compact, weather-sealed outdoor LED driver beats a bulky indoor transformer. Retrofitting an old low-voltage accent run to LED is another classic: you cut energy use dramatically compared with halogen while keeping the same layout.
