Built to stay outside
This 150W outdoor LED driver is fully sealed to IP67, which means total protection against dust ingress and protection against the effects of temporary immersion in water. That matters in a Canadian climate, where a driver buried in a landscape bed or mounted behind a sign faces rain, snowmelt, road spray and freeze-thaw cycles year after year. The enclosure is slim and rectangular — 22 cm x 6.9 cm x 4.2 cm, or 24.2 cm including the brackets — with integrated mounting brackets so it screws directly to a joist, a post, the inside of a sign cabinet or a weatherproof enclosure. Because the footprint is compact, it also slips into soffit cavities and shallow chases where a bulkier transformer simply will not fit.
Clean, stable 24V power
The driver accepts a 100 – 120V AC input — standard North American line voltage — and converts it to a regulated 24V DC output rated 6.25A, 150W. Constant-voltage 24V is the backbone of most modern architectural and landscape LED systems: it lets you run longer home runs with less voltage drop than a 12V system, and it lets several fixtures share a single supply. This unit is not dimmable, so plan your controls accordingly — it is intended for full-output circuits, or for systems where dimming happens downstream at the fixture or through a separate control layer. It is cETLus certified for Canada and the USA and carries the CDNLUX brand under the LED MONTREAL catalogue, SKU 24V6AETLPSU.

Class 1: who this driver is for
This is the part to read twice. A Class 1 transformer is not a plug-and-play accessory for low-voltage LED strips. Powerful Class 1 drivers like this one are reserved for professional LED applications that involve load division through recognized fuses, plus inspection and recertification of the finished installation by an accredited body such as UL, Intertek or QPS. A licensed electrician alone does not have the authority to complete that inspection. If your project is a residential or light-commercial LED strip install, you want a Class 2 driver instead: maximum 96W at 24V, or 60W at 12V, which keeps the installation compliant with certification standards and the electrical code with no inspection required. Multi-output 24V drivers with several 96W outputs are the usual answer when one strip run is not enough.
Where it earns its keep, and what comes with it
Think illuminated channel letters and outdoor sign lighting, façade and architectural grazing on a condo or office building, parking lot and walkway accent lighting, marina and dock fixtures, greenhouse and barn lighting, or a large garden and landscape lighting layout where a single sealed supply feeds a run of fixtures. Contractors also use it indoors in damp or dusty environments — mechanical rooms, workshops, car washes — where a standard open-frame supply would not survive. For documentation, the technical spec sheet PDF (24V DC IP67 Indoor - Outdoor LED Driver 150W) is available in the Documentation tab of this page, with the full certification and dimensional details to hand to your inspector or engineer. Match the driver to a certified, fused distribution layout, confirm your load stays within the 150W budget, and this IP67 24V power supply will quietly do its job season after season.
