Built for high outputThis LED ribbon uses
Epistar 2835 High Output SMD chips at a density of 128 LEDs per meter — double the density of many entry-level tapes — mounted on a 3-ounce copper circuit board. That heavier copper matters: it carries current with less loss along the run and pulls heat away from the diodes, which is what keeps brightness and colour stable over time. The tape is 10mm wide and just 2mm high, so it disappears into millwork reveals, under cabinets and inside channels, and the 3M self-adhesive backing makes the first fit quick and clean. Cut marks are placed every 8 LEDs (62.5mm) so you can size each run precisely.
Light quality you can seeWith a typical output of
3200 lumens per meter and a 120° beam angle, this strip floods a surface instead of striping it. The colour temperature is
3000K warm white, the cozy, inviting tone most homeowners choose for kitchens, living areas and hospitality spaces, and the
CRI of 80+ keeps cabinet finishes, countertops, food and merchandise looking true. Thanks to the tight 128 LEDs/m spacing, the dots blend into a continuous line when the strip sits behind a diffuser — no more counting hot spots on the ceiling.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip is supplied with a female DC plug (17cm) on one end and two wires (17cm) on the other, so you can plug into a matching low-voltage supply or hard-wire the run as your project requires. Size your driver using the recommended
30W/m figure to leave headroom — a 5 meter roll pulls 24W/m. Dimming is fully supported: use a
low-voltage dimmer/remote combo on the DC side, or a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer. One rule not to skip: at 24W per meter, this tape must be installed on a heat-dissipating surface or in an appropriate aluminum channel. Sticking it to wood, drywall or plastic alone will shorten its life.
Where to use it, and what to pair it withThink kitchen under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, cove and tray ceilings, staircases, walk-in closets, home theatres and basement bars; on the commercial side, retail shelving and display cases, bar fronts, reception desks, salon mirrors and restaurant millwork. Because it is rated
iP20, keep it indoors and away from wet locations. For the cleanest result — and for the heat dissipation the strip needs — mount it in the
8 feet aluminum U shape profile for LED strip (LUX740), whose diffuser turns the high-density line into a neon-like glow. Full details, connection info and ratings are in the
technical spec sheet available in the Documentation tab of this page.
