Built to last, built to bend
This white LED strip uses Epistar 3528 SMD chips mounted on a flexible printed circuit with a 2-ounce copper base — the heavier copper helps carry current cleanly along the full 5-metre roll. At 10mm wide and only 4.25mm high, it slips into narrow cabinet lips, cove details, aluminum extrusions and millwork reveals where a bigger fixture has no chance. The 3M self-adhesive backing holds well on clean, smooth, dry surfaces; wipe the surface with alcohol first and press firmly along the whole run for the best bond. The strip is rated iP20 and is suitable for dry and humid environments, indoor and protected outdoor use, with an operating temperature range of 40C to -10C.
Light quality that flatters a room
You get 60 LEDs per metre — 300 LEDs over the 5-metre length — which keeps the dots close together for a smooth line of light, especially behind a diffuser. The typical output is 400 lumens per metre at 3000K warm white, a temperature that feels relaxed and inviting in living spaces and makes wood tones and warm paint look their best. With a CRI of 80+, colours stay honest on countertops, merchandise and finishes. The 120° beam angle spreads light widely instead of punching a narrow stripe, which is exactly what you want for under cabinet lighting, cove lighting and shelf accents.

Wiring, dimming and installation
The roll arrives ready to connect, with a female DC plug (17cm) at one end and two wires (17cm) at the other, so you can plug into a 24V DC driver or hard-wire it, depending on your setup. Size the power supply using the recommended 6W/m figure and the actual length you install. Cut only on the marked cut points, every 6 LEDs (100mm), and solder or use a suitable connector at the cut end. Dimming is supported: use a low-voltage dimmer/remote combo on the DC side, or a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer on the line side. Heat dissipation is not necessary for typical residential use; in a commercial environment, mount the strip in an aluminum channel to keep the chips cool and the output steady over the long haul.
Where it shines, and what to read
Think kitchen counters and pantry shelves, a warm glow above crown moulding in the living room, stair nosings and hallway coves, basement bars, home theatre risers, bathroom vanity mirrors, retail display cases, jewellery counters, restaurant banquettes, reception desks and office millwork. Because it is strip only, it drops neatly into an existing 24V system or a brand-new one you build around it. The technical PDF for this product is in the Documentation tab — it lists the full specification set, connection details and cut points, and it's worth printing for the installer or the electrician on site.
