Built for sign cabinets and light boxes
Each unit in this set is a compact injected LED module holding three 2835 Epistar chips, measuring 94 x 18 x 10.3 mm. The modules are self-adhesive and also feature a screw holder, so you can stick them fast during layout and then lock them down permanently — an important detail in a sign cabinet that will be moved, shipped or exposed to heat. The chain is supplied as 100 modules wired together with 24 AWG wire, ready to be cut and laid out row by row inside your enclosure.
Light quality and output
Every module produces 300 lumens from 3W, and the 175° beam angle is the real star: a very wide spread means light overlaps between rows and washes the face of your sign evenly instead of printing bright dots through the acrylic. Choose 6000-7000K cool white for a crisp, high-contrast look on white and coloured faces, or 3000-3500K warm white when you want a softer, more inviting glow on a restaurant or boutique sign. Rated life is 50,000 hours, so a sign lit nightly keeps going for years before you open the cabinet again.
Electrical and installation
These modules run on 110V/220V AC — alternating current driving mode, no transformer, no low-voltage power supply to conceal. That is what lets you run up to 100 modules in a single row for an extended length of 19 m with no brightness drop from one end to the other. Connection is made in a standard junction box on your existing circuit. Because they are line voltage, these modules are not dimmable and all work must respect the Canadian Electrical Code; when in doubt, have a licensed electrician make the final connection. For layout, keep 8 to 15 cm between rows of modules and a cabinet depth of 6 to 18 cm.
