Built for real track systems
The ASTELLA AST-TRH is an H-type, single-circuit track head — the most common track standard in North American homes and small commercial spaces. The adaptor drops into the channel, you pull down the connector lock, insert the adaptor contact in the slot, then rotate 90° to lock. The grounded two-pin side of the adaptor must face the track's two-line polarity side; get that right and the head is locked, powered and ready to aim. Moving a head later takes seconds: depress the connector lock, turn 90°, lift it out and reposition it anywhere along the rail. That re-aimability is exactly why retailers and homeowners keep choosing track lighting heads over fixed pot lights when displays, furniture layouts or artwork change.

Light quality and colour selection
CRI 90+ is the headline for anyone lighting things people look at closely — clothing, food, paint chips, hair colour, jewellery, a feature wall. Colours stay saturated and neutral whites stay neutral. Installation and safety
Cut power at the breaker or pull the fuse before touching any wiring — a wall switch alone is not enough. The track itself starts at the mounting plate: wire black to hot, white to neutral and green to ground at the outlet box, tuck the wires in, set the track, mark and drill for the toggle bolts, then secure the channel and slide the canopy cover over the J-box. Keep the track out of damp and wet locations, never install any part of the system less than 5 feet above the floor, and keep luminaires at least 6 inches from curtains or other combustible material. Only lighting track luminaires belong on the rail — no power tools, cords or appliances. Don't connect a track to more than one branch circuit unless it is built for it; ask a qualified electrician. The head runs hot in use, so wait at least 5 minutes after cutting power before handling it.

Applications, compatibility and documents
Picture a 12 ft rail over a boutique's feature wall, four heads on a AST track 8 ft white above a kitchen island, or a short AST track 4 ft white washing a stairwell gallery. Matching white rails come in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 ft; black rails such as the AST track 6 ft black pair with the 10W AST track head in black when you want the hardware to vanish against a dark ceiling.
