The AST-TRK-H-TC-BK is a three-way junction for the TUROLIGHT ASTELLA Track System in H-type, single-circuit configuration. Rather than forcing you to run separate circuits or awkward straight lines, it joins three track sections at a right-angled tee while carrying the conductors and the ground through the junction. The black finish is made to blend with black ASTELLA track, dark drywall ceilings, exposed joists and industrial-style interiors, so the hardware reads as part of the architecture instead of an afterthought. Like every part of the family, it uses set screws and a slide-in engagement into the open end of the track — no special tooling, no soldering, no proprietary gadgets.

Electrical and installation details
Always switch off the power at the main source (the panel) before installing track or accessories, and respect local installation requirements — in Canada that means following your provincial electrical code and, where required, using a licensed electrician. Track is secured to the ceiling or wall through its mounting holes: on drywall or plaster, drill 5/8 holes and use the toggle bolts supplied; on wood surfaces, standard #10 wood screws are used (not supplied). For the connector itself, select the correct polarity tab before sliding it on: the ground tabs must be prepared before the connector slides onto the NON-GROUND conductor-side tab of the section you are joining. If the wrong tab has been removed, do not use the connector, because grounding will not be maintained. Loosen the set screws on all connector types before sliding into the open end of the track, then tighten them once everything is aligned. Wire connections at live feeds use the screw terminals, with conductors stripped 3/8 — no need to wrap the wire around the screw. Finally, to reduce the risk of fire, make sure dead-end caps are slid into ALL open ends of the track and the set screws are tightened before turning the power back on.

Compatibility and fixture safety
This tee is designed for the AST-TRK family and sits alongside the other ASTELLA connectors and feeds — live end feed, end connector, X connector, L connector, mini joiner, straight connector and floating connector. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, use only fixture assemblies marked for use with TUROLIGHT track. Lampholders mount by aligning the polarity line on the track with the one on the lampholder, pushing the top of the mounting adapter (with the contact tabs) into the track slot and turning 90°; if the adapter does not turn easily, do not force it — turn the other way. To remove a head, press the release lever with your index finger and turn 90°. Build your run with the black ASTELLA lengths: AST Track 2 ft H type 1 circuit 120V black, AST Track 4 ft H type 1 circuit 120V black and AST Track 6 ft H type 1 circuit 120V black, or switch to white sections such as the AST Track 8 ft H type 1 circuit 120V white when the ceiling calls for it.
