Built for H-type track, built to be movedThe ASTELLA series AST-TRH track head is a cylinder-style luminaire made specifically for
H-type, single-circuit track that is ceiling mounted. The adaptor uses a connector lock that slides up and down: pull it down, insert the adaptor contact into the slot in the track, then rotate the adaptor a quarter turn (90°) to lock. The adaptor contact with the grounding pin is the two-pin side and must be turned toward the track's two-line polarity side — get that orientation right and the head seats securely and grounds properly. Relocating is just as quick: depress the connector lock, turn 90°, and slide the head to its new spot along the rail. That's what makes
track lighting so forgiving in rooms where merchandising, artwork or furniture layouts change.
Light quality you choose on siteThe colour select switch sits on the back side of the head and offers
5 selectable colour temperatures — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. Warm 2700K for a residential living space or a restaurant, 3000K for a hospitality feel, 3500K as an easy in-between, 4000K for neutral commercial white, 5000K where you want maximum crispness on merchandise and task surfaces. One SKU covers all five, so a contractor can carry fewer boxes to the jobsite and still deliver exactly the ambiance the client pictures. After setting the colour, simply adjust the angle of the head as needed to aim the beam.

Installation and safety essentialsAlways shut off power at the source before installing or repositioning any track head — removing the fuse or switching off the breaker, since turning off the wall switch is not enough to prevent electric shock. The track system itself starts at the junction box: the mount plate is attached to the J-box and wired (black to hot, white to neutral, green to ground), the track is placed on the ceiling and secured with toggle bolts, the connection terminal is rotated to the proper double-pin and single-pin direction, then the canopy cover goes over the J-box. Do not install the track system in damp or wet locations, never less than 5 feet above the floor, and keep any luminaire assembly at least 6 inches from curtains or similar combustible materials. Disconnect power before adding to or changing the configuration of the track, don't connect a track to more than one branch circuit unless it's built for it, and never energize anything other than lighting track luminaires. The head gets hot in operation — wait at least 5 minutes after cutting power before touching it.
Where it works and what it pairs withThink boutique shelving and jewellery cases, gallery walls, café counters, salon stations, showroom vignettes, condo kitchens with an island, home offices and finished basements — anywhere a fixed downlight would miss the mark. Because heads slide anywhere along the rail, one circuit can light several zones at once. Complete the system with the matching white
