The AST TRACK - 6 FT - H TYPE - 1 CIRCUIT - 120V - WHITE is a 6-foot section of the TUROLIGHT ASTELLA track system, the white lighting track rail that lets you clip on, slide and re-aim your track lighting heads exactly where the light is needed. People call it a track bar, a track rail, a lighting rail or simply H-type track — it is the standard H (single-circuit) profile, so any lampholder, adapter or pendant adapter marked for use with TUROLIGHT track drops right in and locks with a quarter turn. Use it to light a kitchen island, a hallway of artwork, a retail display wall, a salon station or a home office, and add, move or remove fixtures later without touching the ceiling again.

This section runs on 120V, 60HZ, 20A and is built as a 1-way circuit (P + N + PE), Class I, rated IP20 for dry indoor use. Built on the H-type standard
The ASTELLA track system from TUROLIGHT uses the H-type, single-circuit profile — the most widely used track rail format in North American residential and commercial lighting. The extrusion carries a 1-way circuit (P + N + PE) with copper conductors inside the channel and a polarity line printed on the rail so every adapter goes in the right way. The underside is flat and uninterrupted, which lets the section sit tight against a ceiling or wall, while the open slot runs the full 6 ft of the rail so heads can be positioned anywhere along it and re-spaced whenever the room changes.

Electrical and installation details
This is a 120V system, 60HZ, rated 20A, Class I, IP20 — indoor dry locations. Installation follows three steps in the supplied instructions: cut the power at the panel, position the rail over the outlet box and mark the mounting holes, then drill and fasten. On drywall or plaster, drill 5/8 mounting holes and use the toggle bolts provided; on wood surfaces, use standard #10 wood screws (not supplied). Strip 3/8 of wire and land the conductors on the screw terminals inside the live end or connector — no need to wrap the wire around the screw. Before energizing, loosen the set screws on every connector before sliding it into the open end of the rail, then tighten them, and make sure a dead end is slid into ALL open ends of the run. Local installation requirements must be respected.

Adding heads and accessories
To mount a lampholder, align the polarity line on the track with the one on the lampholder, push the top of the mounting adapter (the side with the contact tabs) into the track slot and turn 90°. If the adapter does not turn easily, do not force it — turn the other way. To remove a head, press the release lever with your index finger and turn 90°. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, use only fixture assemblies marked for use with TUROLIGHT track. The system also includes connectors and feeds identified in the instructions — AST-TRK-H-LEC, AST-TRK-H-EC, AST-TRK-H-XC, AST-TRK-H-LC, AST-TRK-H-TC, AST-TRK-H-SC, AST-TRK-H-FC and AST-TRK-H-MJ — so straight runs, corners and crosses can all be assembled from the same family. When joining sections, select the correct ground tab: the ground tabs on the connectors must be prepared before sliding onto the NON-GROUND conductor-side tab of the section being joined, and if the wrong tab was removed, do not use that connector, because grounding will not be maintained.
