Built for real installationsThe AST-TRH is the track head of the TUROLIGHT
ASTELLA series, engineered specifically for
H-type, single-circuit track. The adaptor at the top of the head carries a connector lock and a grounding pin: you pull the lock down, insert the adaptor contact into the slot in the rail, then rotate a quarter turn (90°) to lock it in place. The two-pin side of the adaptor — the one with the grounding pin — must face the track's two-line polarity side, a detail that takes two seconds on site and guarantees a correct, grounded connection. Moving a head later is just as fast: depress the connector lock, turn 90°, and reposition it anywhere along the run. That is the whole point of
track lighting — a layout that can be rethought without touching the ceiling again.
Light quality you can dial inThe colour select switch sits on the back of the head, so you set the ambiance before you lock the fixture onto the rail.
5CCT means five selectable colour temperatures:
2700K for a warm, residential glow,
3000K for a soft hospitality feel,
3500K as a neutral middle ground,
4000K for clean retail and office light, and
5000K for crisp task and display lighting. On a single rail you can keep every head identical and still warm up the seating area while keeping the merchandising wall bright and neutral. LED technology also means far less energy than the halogen track heads it replaces — often up to 80% less — with none of the lamp-changing routine.

Installation and safetyAlways shut off power at the breaker or remove the fuse before working — switching the wall switch off is not enough. The track system itself starts at the junction box: the mount plate is fastened to the J-box and wired (black to hot, white to neutral, green to ground), the wires are tucked back in, the track channel is placed and secured with toggle bolts, the connection terminal is rotated to respect the single-pin and double-pin sides, and the canopy cover finishes the assembly over the J-box. Then the heads go on. A few rules matter: this track system must not be installed in
damp or wet locations, no part of it should sit less than 5 feet above the floor, no luminaire should be closer than 6 inches to curtains or similar combustible material, and power must be disconnected before adding heads or changing the configuration. Never energize anything other than track luminaires on the rail, and never connect a track to more than one branch circuit unless it is built for it — ask a qualified electrician. The head is hot when powered; wait at least 5 minutes after shutting it off before touching it. Do not install the fixture if any part is missing or damaged.
Applications, compatibility and documentationThink retail shelving and counters, café and restaurant walls, a hair salon station, a gallery or a showroom, and at home a kitchen island, a stairwell, an art wall or a long hallway in a condo. Build the run with the black rails —
AST Track 2 ft,
AST Track 4 ft or
AST Track 6 ft in H type, 1 circuit, 120V — and mix wattages along the same channel with the
10W AST track head or the
35W AST track head; a white version, the
20W AST track head in white, is available when the ceiling calls for it. The full spec sheet and installation instructions for AST-TRH-H-20W-MK5-120-D-MF-BK, including the dimension drawing and the step-by-step mounting diagram, are in the Documentation tab.
