Built to be aimed, built to last
The ASTELLA Series track head is a directional LED track spot with a rotating, tilting head on a spring-loaded track adapter. Installation is refreshingly simple: hold the adapter with your thumb on the locking tab, make sure the locking tab is positioned directly opposite the polarity line on the rail, push the adapter into the track and rotate it a quarter turn (90°) counter-clockwise. Then adjust the angle of the head to hit the target. That quarter-turn action means a contractor can hang a full run of heads quickly, and a homeowner can re-aim or relocate a head later without tools or rewiring.

Light quality and colour selection
The big advantage of this 5CCT track head is the colour-selectable switch found on the back side of the fixture: five selectable colour temperatures in one product, chosen on site. Electrical and safety notes
Always shut off power at the fuse or breaker before working — turning off the light switch is not enough to prevent electric shock. The track system itself mounts to a J-box: attach the mount plate, connect black (hot), white (neutral) and green (ground), tuck the wires in, secure the track channel with toggle bolts, install the connection terminal in the proper double-pin and single-pin direction, then cover the J-box with the canopy. Do not install the track in damp or wet locations, never less than 5 feet above the floor, and keep any luminaire assembly at least 6 inches from curtains or similar combustible material. Disconnect power before adding or moving heads, never energize anything other than track luminaires on the rail, and do not connect a track to more than one branch circuit unless it is built for it — ask a qualified electrician. The head gets hot in use: wait at least 5 minutes after power off before touching it.
