The AST TRACK LIGHT HEAD from TUROLIGHT is a 35W H-type track light head — the kind of adjustable track lighting head, spot or projector people use to wash a feature wall, light a display case, or bring a retail aisle to life. It belongs to the ASTELLA series (model AST-TRH), snaps onto a single-circuit H-type track with a quarter-turn adaptor, and can be moved or re-aimed in seconds whenever the layout of a room or a store changes. This is the largest head of the family: 35W on 120V, with a 5CCT colour-selectable switch right on the back of the head. Five colour temperatures are printed on the switch — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K — so you choose warm and cozy or crisp and commercial on site, with no need to re-order, and you can keep every head on a run perfectly matched. The head measures 3.54 x 8.51 inches (Ø90 mm body, 216 mm long), and the aiming geometry gives you real control over where the beam lands. The unit complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. It is designed for ceiling-mounted track only, in dry locations — never damp or wet areas — and must be installed at least 5 feet above the floor, never within 6 inches of curtains or other combustible material.

Built for the ASTELLA H-type system
The AST-TRH head is part of the TUROLIGHT ASTELLA series of track heads, designed for H-type single-circuit track. The adaptor is a simple mechanical lock: pull down the connector lock, insert the adaptor contact into the slot in the track, then rotate it a quarter turn (90°) to lock. The adaptor contact carrying the grounding pin is the two-pin side and must face the track's two-line polarity side. Need to move the head later? Depress the connector lock, turn 90°, lift it out and re-install it anywhere along the rail. That is the beauty of track lighting: the layout is never final.

Light quality and colour selection
The 5CCT selectable colour temperature switch sits on the back of the head, marked 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. Warm 2700K or 3000K flatters wood, brick and merchandise in a boutique or a dining room; 3500K is the easy middle ground for offices and lobbies; 4000K and 5000K read cleaner and more commercial for showrooms, workshops and task areas. Because the setting is made head by head, you can even tune a full run to the finish of the space, then keep spares on the shelf that fit any future project instead of stocking five different SKUs.

Installation and safety
Always shut the power off at the fuse or breaker before working — the wall switch alone is not enough. The track itself mounts to a J-box: connect black to hot, white to neutral and the green grounding wire, tuck the wires in, mark and drill for the toggle bolts, secure the track channel to the mount plate, fit the connection terminal in the proper double-pin and single-pin direction, then cover the J-box with the canopy. Do not install the track system in damp or wet locations, keep every part at least 5 feet above the floor, keep luminaires at least 6 inches away from curtains and combustible materials, and never connect anything other than track luminaires to the rail. Do not connect a track to more than one branch circuit unless it is built for it — ask a qualified electrician. The head runs hot: wait at least 5 minutes after power-off before touching it.

Applications, compatibility and documentation
Use it to graze an accent wall in a restaurant, highlight shelving in a clothing boutique, light artwork in a gallery or a home hallway, or cover a work surface in a studio. Mount it on any of the matching black H-type rails — AST Track 2 ft, AST Track 4 ft or AST Track 6 ft — and mix wattages on the same run with the 10W AST track light head in black for softer accents. Prefer a lighter ceiling? The same 35W head exists in white.
