Built for high-load professional LED systems
The 24DIMP200 is a Class 1 LED driver designed for engineered lighting installations, not for casual plug-and-play work. It arrives as two components: the power supply module and a dedicated junction box that houses the line-voltage connections. That separation keeps your 120V wiring inside a proper enclosure while the driver body handles conversion to 24V DC. For installers, it means a cleaner, more serviceable result — you can locate the junction box where an inspector can reach it and keep the assembly organized inside a mechanical room, a ceiling cavity, a soffit or a millwork chase.
Power, dimming and control
Input is 100 – 120V AC, which matches standard North American residential and light-commercial line voltage. Output is a constant 24V at 8.33A, for 200W total. Because the unit is dimmable with a 120V AC dimmer, dimming happens on the line side: you wire a standard wall dimmer ahead of the driver and control the whole zone from a familiar switch plate. This is a real advantage on projects where the client wants simple wall control rather than a low-voltage dimming system, and it simplifies specification when you are coordinating with an existing switch layout. Always confirm your chosen dimmer is compatible with electronic LED loads and respect the driver's rated wattage when you calculate the connected load.

Please read this before ordering. A powerful Class 1 transformer like this one is reserved for professional LED applications in which the total load is divided through recognized fuses and in which the finished installation is inspected and recertified by an accredited body — UL, Intertek, QPS or an equivalent organization. Your electrician does not have the authority to complete that inspection. If your project is a standard low-voltage LED strip light installation, this is not the right driver: strips must be connected to a Class 2 power supply rated at a maximum of 96W at 24V or 60W at 12V to create an installation that complies with certification standards and the electrical code, with no inspection required. Using an oversized transformer on LED tape voids that compliance path, so match the driver class to the application from the start.
Applications and documentation
Think large-scale, engineered work: retail and showroom fit-outs, office and institutional ceilings, hospitality feature lighting, architectural coves and custom residential projects where an inspection and recertification process is already part of the scope. The compact driver footprint and separate junction box make it practical to integrate into a mechanical room, above a suspended ceiling or inside custom cabinetry, as long as the location stays accessible for service.
