Built to last, built to bend
This is a serious piece of LED tape lighting, not a novelty roll. The strip is built on a 2-ounce copper circuit board, which handles heat and current far better than thin budget boards and keeps colour consistent from one end of the run to the other. On top sit Epistar 5050 RGB+W SMD 4-in-1 chips at a density of 60 LEDs per meter, so red, green, blue and white all come from the same tight package — no rainbow fringing, no colour separation along a cove. The whole assembly is sealed to IP67, measures 14.5mm wide by 5mm high and comes on a 5 meter roll with 3M self-adhesive backing on the reverse.
Colour you control, white you can live with
Standard RGB strips make "white" by firing all three colours at once, and the result is usually bluish or pinkish. Here, a true white chip is built in, tuned to 4000K natural white with a CRI of 80+, so wood, paint and skin tones look right when you just want light instead of a light show. Typical luminous flux is 400 lumens per meter and the lighting angle is 120°, which gives a wide, soft wash ideal for indirect cove and under-cabinet work. The strip is dimmable with a low voltage controller/remote combo, letting you fade colours, run scenes, or simply dial the white channel down for a quiet evening.

Wiring and installation
Because it runs on 24V DC, this strip holds its brightness over longer runs than a 12V equivalent and is safe to handle during installation. Five wires (17cm) come pre-attached at each end of the roll, which saves you soldering and lets you feed power from whichever side is more convenient — handy when a corner or a joist gets in the way. Size your driver using the recommended 18W per meter figure for the length you actually install, and match it to an RGBW controller with remote so all four channels are driven properly. The strip can be cut every 6 LEDs (100mm) at the marked points. Clean and dry the surface before pressing down the 3M adhesive; on painted drywall, plaster or rough wood, a mechanical channel or clips will always outlast tape alone. Heat dissipation is not strictly necessary, but installing the strip on a heat-dissipating surface or in an appropriate aluminum channel is strongly recommended and will protect the colour and the lifespan.
Where to use it, and what to read
Indoors, think kitchen toe-kicks and upper cabinets, bar fronts, staircase nosings, home theatre risers, bedroom headboards, retail shelving and display cases. Outdoors, the IP67 seal suits dry and humid environments and protected outdoor use: covered patios, gazebo rafters, soffits, RVs, trailers, boats and cottage decks, within an operating range of 40C to -10C. Restaurants and small businesses use it for accent walls and signage glow that can switch from brand colours during the day to warm neutral white at closing. Full details are in the technical PDF available in the Documentation tab of this page — check it before ordering your power supply and controller, since this listing is the strip only.
