Built to disappear, made to last
At 10mm wide and 4.25mm high, this 12V LED strip tucks into places a fixture could never reach: behind a crown moulding, under a floating shelf, inside a display cabinet, along a stair stringer. The Epistar 3528 SMD chips are spaced at 120 LEDs per meter, which is what gives the light its continuous, dotted-free look instead of a row of hot spots. The whole ribbon is coated in an IP65+ silicone layer that seals the circuit against humidity, dust and splashes while staying flexible and easy to wipe down — a real advantage in kitchens, bathrooms and retail displays where fingerprints and grease build up. Backing it all up is 3M self-adhesive tape for a clean peel-and-stick installation on any smooth, dry surface.
Light quality you can trust
The 4000K Natural White colour temperature sits right between warm and cool: crisp enough to feel fresh and modern, neutral enough that it never turns blue or clinical. With a CRI of 80+, colours, wood grains, fabrics and skin tones read naturally — important when you're lighting merchandise, artwork or a kitchen counter. Typical luminous flux is 800 lumens per meter and the beam spreads at 120°, so a single run washes a surface evenly rather than cutting a narrow line. Over a 1.2 meter length, that's plenty of punch for accent and task-adjacent lighting, and it's rated for 50 000+ hours of service.

Wiring, dimming and installation
This is a low voltage product: it needs 12V DC, so budget a power supply sized at 12W per meter of strip. Connections are already done for you — a female DC plug (17cm) on one end and 2 wires (17cm) on the other — which means you can plug into a matching 12V driver or hard-wire into a junction box depending on the job. The strip can be shortened every 3 LEDs (25mm) at the marked cut lines, so you can trim a 1.2 meter run to fit a cabinet or a stair tread exactly. Dimming is supported two ways: with a low voltage dimmer/remote combo on the DC side, or with a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer on the line side. Heat dissipation isn't mandatory, but mounting the strip on a heat dissipating surface or inside an appropriate aluminum channel will protect the LEDs and give you a cleaner, more finished look with a diffuser lens.
Where it works and what's documented
Because it's suitable for dry and humid environments — indoor and protected outdoor use — contractors use this LED strip lighting under kitchen uppers, in bathroom vanity coves, inside garage workbenches, along basement stair nosings and behind bar counters, while shop owners run it in jewellery cases, shelving units and reception desks. Its low profile and neutral white output also make it a favourite for office millwork and signage backlighting. Remember that this listing covers the strip only, so plan your driver, connectors and channel accordingly. Full details, including the wiring notes and the complete parameter table, are in the technical PDF available in the Documentation tab of this page.
