Versatile by design
The 85 series is built to adapt: the profile can be mounted, suspended or glued to a surface, which means a single product can handle an under-cabinet run, a ceiling line and a suspended fixture above a counter. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, these LED extrusions can be installed both indoors and outdoors, and they accommodate a variety of white and coloured strips, including RGB and RGBW.

Why choose black?
A black LED profile creates strong contrast on white or wood surfaces and disappears into dark cabinets, black ceilings, exposed ductwork and industrial décor. It pairs naturally with matte black faucets, hardware and light fixtures, which makes it a go-to for contemporary kitchens, bars and restaurants. If the look ever needs to change, the aluminum can be painted to match your decor. The series' ordering guide also lists an opaque lens and a black lens for anyone who wants to hide the individual LEDs.

Installation and ordering
This SKU is the 16 ft standard length, ideal for long, continuous runs; the series also comes in 8 ft lengths, and custom fabrication up to 192 inches is possible. On the ordering guide, you will find a standard mounting and a swivel mounting for aiming the light, plus end caps with no hole, with a hole, or one of each. Before installing, check the strip width against the technical drawing, plan the wire exit, clean the inside of the channel and keep the power supply accessible. Line-voltage connections should be made by a licensed electrician, following the Canadian Electrical Code.

Project ideas
Mount it under black kitchen cabinets for under-cabinet lighting that looks built-in, suspend it above a bar or a meeting table for a linear accent, glue it along a staircase or a headboard, or run it across retail shelving and restaurant bar backs.
