A versatile aluminum profile
The 85 series was designed to adapt to almost any project. Easy to install and ideal for residential or commercial work, it can be mounted, suspended or glued to a surface, so the same profile can follow a kitchen cabinet, a ceiling, a wall or a piece of furniture. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, these LED extrusions can be installed indoors and outdoors, and the aluminum can be painted to match your decor when the profile must blend into its surroundings.

Built to protect your LED strip
The profile accommodates and protects a wide variety of LED strips, from white LED tape for task lighting to RGB and RGBW strips for colour effects. Housed in aluminum, the strip stays straight and protected, and the installation takes on a clean, professional look. The series' ordering guide lists an opaque lens and a black lens; a lens hides the individual LEDs and gives a neater line of light.

Installation and ordering
This SKU is the 16 ft standard length, perfect for long runs such as coves, corridors or retail walls; the series also exists in 8 ft lengths, and custom fabrication up to 192 inches is available. The ordering guide offers a standard or a swivel mounting, handy when you need to aim the light, as well as end caps without a hole, with a hole, or one of each. Plan the wire exit and the power supply location before you start, clean the channel before sticking the strip, and have a licensed electrician make the line-voltage connections in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code.

Applications
Homeowners use the 85 series for under-cabinet lighting, open shelving, closets, stair lighting and home offices. In commercial spaces, it lights display shelving, reception desks, bar backs and corridors, or forms a suspended line of light above a table.
