Why choose a black LED profile
A black channel all but disappears against dark cabinets, black shelving, charcoal ceilings and industrial décor, so the eye sees the light rather than the hardware. That makes this version of the aluminum profile #84 a favourite for modern kitchens, bars, boutiques with black fixtures and home theatres. It gives your LED strip lighting the tidy, built-in look usually associated with custom millwork.

Slim, versatile and protective
The 84 series is designed for situations where space is limited, and its compact form factor allows a wide range of uses, from the underside of a wall cabinet to the inside of a display case. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, it accommodates and protects the majority of LED strips in its range, including white and coloured RGB-RGBW strips. It can be installed indoors and outdoors (outside, choose a strip rated for the location), and like every profile of the series it can be painted to match your décor.

Ordering options and installation
The ordering guide of the 84 series offers four colours (plain aluminum, black, white or custom), two lens options (opaque or black), standard mounting and end caps without a hole, with a hole for the cable, or one of each. Standard lengths are 8 and 16 feet, with custom lengths up to 192 inches. For a smooth installation, plan the cable exit and the location of the LED driver, test the strip before closing the channel and leave line-voltage wiring to a licensed electrician.
