The slim profile for tight spaces
The 84 series is designed for situations where space is limited, and its compact form factor opens the door to a wide range of uses. Think under-cabinet lighting in kitchens and bathrooms, shelf and display case lighting, closet and wardrobe lighting, accent lines in coves or along a baseboard, or subtle toe-kick lighting under an island. Where a bulkier channel simply will not fit, this thin LED profile slips right in.

Materials and compatible strips
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum and is designed to accommodate and protect the majority of LED strips in its range, including a variety of white and coloured RGB and RGBW strips. The channel keeps the strip neatly aligned and shielded from bumps, which gives your installation a far more professional result than tape stuck directly to a surface. It can be installed indoors and outdoors; outside, simply choose an LED strip rated for the location. Because it can be painted, the profile can disappear into a wall colour or become a design accent.

Installation and options
The 84 series uses standard mounting. Its ordering guide lists several choices: colour (plain aluminum, black, white or custom), lens (opaque or black) and end caps without a hole, with a hole for the cable, or one of each. Standard lengths are 8 and 16 feet, and custom lengths are available up to 192 inches. Before installing, plan where the power feed will enter, test the strip before closing the channel and have a licensed electrician handle any line-voltage connection to the LED driver.
