An all-black LED channel
Most LED profiles show a silver housing or a white lens, which can clash with dark finishes. This configuration of the aluminum profile #84 combines a black profile and a black opaque lens, giving you a uniform, monochrome look along cabinets, shelves and ceilings. It is the natural choice for black kitchens, dark wood millwork, home theatres, lounges and retail spaces where the architecture is meant to stay in the background.

Slim construction for tight spaces
The 84 series is designed for situations where space is limited, and its compact form factor allows a wide range of uses, from under-cabinet lighting to shelf edges and display niches. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, the profile accommodates and protects the majority of LED strips in its range, including white and coloured RGB-RGBW strips. It can be installed indoors and outdoors (outside, choose a strip rated for the location), and it can be painted if your project calls for a custom colour.

Ordering options and installation
The ordering guide of the series lists the colours (plain aluminum, black, white or custom), the lens options (opaque or black), standard mounting and end caps without a hole, with a hole for the cable, or one of each. Standard lengths are 8 and 16 feet, and custom lengths are available up to 192 inches. Plan the cable exit and the LED driver location, install and test the strip before closing the channel with the lens, and have a licensed electrician make any line-voltage connection.
