A classic look with diffused light
The plain aluminum finish is the most versatile option of the 84 series: it matches stainless steel, chrome, glass and light-coloured cabinetry, and it looks at home in both residential and commercial settings. Paired with the opaque lens, the aluminum profile #84 hides the individual LEDs and spreads their light into a uniform glow, which is exactly what you want when the strip is visible from a seated or standing position.

Designed for tight spaces
This profile is designed for situations where space is limited, and its compact form factor opens up a wide range of uses. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, it accommodates and protects the majority of LED strips in its range, including white and coloured RGB-RGBW strips, from warm white task lighting to colour-changing ambiance. It can be installed indoors and outdoors, for instance under a covered patio soffit with a strip rated for that location, and it can be painted to blend into any colour scheme.

Installation and ordering options
The 84 series uses standard mounting. Its ordering guide also lists end caps without a hole, with a hole for the cable, or one of each, along with colour choices (plain aluminum, black, white or custom) and lens choices (opaque or black). Standard lengths are 8 and 16 feet, and custom lengths are available up to 192 inches. Plan your cable path and LED driver location, test the strip before closing the channel with the lens, and leave line-voltage connections to a licensed electrician.
