Call it a track head, a track lighting head, a track spot or a "spot sur rail" — it is the adjustable cylinder that clips into a single-circuit track and aims light exactly where you want it: over merchandise, artwork, a kitchen island, a reception desk or a feature wall. This one is the J-Type version, so it snaps into J-type (single-circuit) track channels, and the head pivots and rotates so you can re-aim the beam any time your displays or furniture move.

The ASTELLA Series J-Type track head from TUROLIGHT is the 35W member of a three-size family (10W, 20W, 35W). Its cylinder body measures 3.54 × 8.51 inches, the biggest of the range, giving the LED module and heat sink the room they need to run cool and stay bright. The head sits on a yoke and adapter that let you swing and rotate the fixture after installation, so a store can re-merchandise a wall and simply re-aim the beams instead of moving fixtures. The white finish blends into white ceilings and white track runs, while the matching black version is available when you want the hardware to disappear against a dark ceiling.

Light quality and colour selection
With CRI90+, this head renders reds, wood tones, packaging graphics and skin tones far more faithfully than a basic spot — critical in clothing stores, galleries, bakeries, salons and dining rooms. Installation and safety
Installation follows the standard single-circuit routine: shut off the breaker (a wall switch is not enough), attach the mount plate to the J-box and connect black to hot, white to neutral and green to ground, tuck the wires back into the box, then mark and drill for the toggle bolts and secure the track channel to the mounting plate. Fit the connection terminal in the proper double-pin and single-pin direction, slide the canopy cover over the J-box, then hold the adapter with your thumb on the spring-loaded locking tab, keep that tab directly opposite the polarity line, push the adapter into the track and rotate it a quarter turn (90°) counter-clockwise. A few site rules from the instructions: ceiling-mounted track only, never in damp or wet locations, never less than 5 feet above the floor, never closer than 6 inches to curtains or other combustible material, and never connect anything but track luminaires to the rail. The head runs hot — wait at least 5 minutes after power off before touching it.

Compatibility, applications and documentation
This head is made for J-type single-circuit track. Plan your layout with the ASTELLA rails: 2 ft white track, 6 ft white track or 12 ft white track for long retail aisles. Mix wattages on the same run — the 10W AST track head in white for close-range accents and this 35W head for high ceilings, stairwells over two storeys, gallery walls or a long kitchen island.
