Built around a true 4-in-1 chip
The heart of this RGB+W LED tape is the Epistar 5050 RGB+W SMD 4-in-1 chip: red, green, blue and a dedicated white emitter inside one package. Because the white comes from its own diode instead of a mix, you get a real 4000K Natural White instead of the bluish or purple cast typical of standard RGB. With 60 LEDs per meter across 7.5 meters, that adds up to 450 chips, so colour transitions look smooth and the strip stays bright no matter which hue you select. The 2-ounce copper circuit board helps carry current and move heat away from the diodes — a detail that matters on a long 7.5 meter run.
Light quality you can actually use
Typical luminous flux is 400 lumens per meter, with a 120° lighting angle that spreads evenly inside a cove or channel rather than throwing hot spots. The CRI of 80+ keeps skin tones, wood and paint looking natural when you run the white channel, which is why this tape works as well over a kitchen counter as it does behind a TV. Note that the RGB+W strip produces one shade of white — here, 4000K Natural White — so the white channel is consistent from one end of the run to the other.

Wiring, cutting and installation
This is a 24V DC low-voltage LED strip, so it needs a 24V power supply sized to the run: the recommended figure is 18W/m, which gives the driver headroom over the 14.4W/m the tape actually draws. Five wires (17cm) come pre-attached at each end — the extra conductor is the dedicated white channel — so you can feed from either side or bridge two sections. The strip can be cut every 6 LEDs (100mm) at the marked cut lines, and the 3M self-adhesive back sticks to clean, dry surfaces. Dimming and colour changes are handled by a low-voltage RGB+W controller/remote combo rather than a wall dimmer. Because heat is the enemy of any LED tape, the strip must be installed on a heat-dissipating surface or inside an appropriate aluminum channel — a profile also hides the diodes, diffuses the light and protects the 12mm x 2mm ribbon.
Where it works and what is included
With an IP20 rating, this tape belongs indoors and away from moisture: ceiling coves, crown moulding, under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, stair nosings, headboards, bar fronts, retail shelves, display cases, home theatres and basement rec rooms. Contractors like it for condo and restaurant accent lighting where a client wants colour for events and a clean white for daily operation. Remember that this listing is the strip only: the power supply, controller and mounting channel are chosen separately to match your layout.
