Built to last, not just to glow
This LED strip lighting is built on a 2-ounce copper circuit board, which helps the strip run cooler and hold its output over the long haul. The Epistar 3528 SMD chips are laid out at 60 LEDs per meter across a full 5-meter roll, and the whole strip is protected by a silicone coating that keeps dust and splashes off the diodes and makes the surface easy to wipe clean. A genuine 3M self-adhesive backing runs along the back, so on a clean, dry, degreased surface the strip stays exactly where you put it.
Light quality you can live with
At 400 lumens per meter with a 120° beam angle, this strip is made for ambient and accent work: cove ceilings, crown mouldings, under-cabinet lines, stair nosings, shelving and display niches. The 3000K Warm White colour temperature gives that soft, golden, lived-in light that flatters wood, stone and paint, while the CRI 80+ keeps colours honest — important when you're lighting merchandise, artwork or a kitchen backsplash. Because the LEDs are closely spaced, the line of light reads as a smooth band rather than a row of dots once it's tucked into a channel or a cove.

Wiring, dimming and installation
The strip is supplied with connections at both ends: a female DC plug (17cm) on one end and 2 wires (17cm) on the other, which makes hooking it up to a 12V DC power supply quick and clean. Size your driver at the recommended 6W per meter — so plan your total run length before ordering the supply — and keep polarity in mind when you connect the bare leads. Need a shorter run? The strip can be cut every 3 LEDs (50mm) at the marked cut points. For dimming, you have two proven routes: a low voltage dimmer/remote combo installed on the DC side, or a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer. Heat dissipation is not necessary, unless the strip is used in a commercial environment — in that case, mounting it in an aluminum profile is the smart move.
Where it goes to work
Think cove lighting above crown moulding in a living room, a warm line under kitchen cabinets, a glow behind a bathroom mirror, lit shelves in a boutique, bar fronts and restaurant banquettes, reception desks, office millwork and basement ceilings. It's suitable for dry and humid environments, indoor and protected outdoor use — think a covered porch or a soffit that never sees direct rain. Being a strip-only roll, it slots easily into an existing 12V system or a brand-new one you spec yourself.
