Built for real projects
This is a professional-grade low voltage LED tape light designed for interior designers, architects and cabinetmakers who can't afford callbacks. The strip uses Epistar 3528 SMD chips on a 2-ounce copper circuit board — heavier copper helps carry current and manage heat over a long run. At 10mm wide and 4.25mm high, it disappears inside a cabinet valance, a cove, a reveal or a slim aluminum profile. The full roll is 5 meters long and can be cut every 6 LEDs (50mm) at the marked cut points, so you can trim a run to a cabinet, a stair riser or a headboard without wasting the rest of the roll.
Light quality you'll actually notice
With 120 LEDs per meter, the dots blend closely together, which means far less dotting through a diffuser than a low-density strip. Typical output is 800 lumens per meter at a 120° lighting angle — broad and even, ideal for washing a ceiling cove or lighting a countertop. The 3000K Warm White colour temperature is the classic residential warm tone that pairs beautifully with wood cabinetry and warm paint, and the CRI 80+ keeps colours honest on food, merchandise and finishes.

Electrical, dimming and installation
The strip runs on 24V DC and is sold as strip only, so plan on a 24V DC driver sized at the recommended 12W/m — that headroom keeps the supply cool and the light steady. Connections are included: a female DC plug (17cm) on one end and two wires (17cm) on the other, so you can plug into a matching driver lead or hard-wire into a junction box. It is dimmable two ways: with a low voltage dimmer/remote combo on the DC side, or with a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer on the line side. The 3M self-adhesive backing holds well on clean, dry, smooth surfaces — degrease first with alcohol. Heat dissipation isn't strictly necessary, but installing the strip on a heat-dissipating surface or in an appropriate aluminum channel is recommended and will extend its life while giving you a finished, diffused look.
Where it goes and what's in the documentation
Rated iP65+ and suitable for dry and humid environments, this strip works indoors and in protected outdoor locations — under a soffit, in a covered porch ceiling, along a sheltered deck rail — with an operating range of 40C to -10C that suits our climate. Inside, think under upper cabinets in a kitchen, above a bathroom vanity mirror, in a basement cove, under floating shelves in a retail boutique, behind a restaurant bar, in display cases and reception desks. Its cULus certification for Canada and USA (E498952) also makes it an easy specification for clients with projects on both sides of the border.
