Dotless light, thanks to COB
Traditional strips place individual LED chips a few millimetres apart, which is exactly why you see dots and scalloping on the wall above your cabinets. A COB LED strip (Chip On Board) covers the emitters with a continuous phosphor layer, so what you see is a single uninterrupted line of light. Add the 98.4° lighting angle and the result is a soft, wide, even wash — ideal for indirect LED ceiling light strip coves where every imperfection normally shows. The tape measures just 4mm wide and 2mm thick, which is what makes it so easy to hide inside slim millwork reveals and narrow extrusions.
Built like a professional-grade product
The circuit board uses 3 ounces of copper, roughly the kind of construction you want when a strip has to run several meters without visible voltage drop or hot spots. More copper means better current distribution and better heat dissipation, which directly protects colour consistency and lifespan — rated here at 50,000+ hours. The back carries a 3M self-adhesive backing for clean mounting on a smooth, degreased surface. Heat sinking is not strictly necessary, but installing the strip on a heat-dissipating surface or inside an appropriate aluminum channel is strongly recommended, and it also gives you a finished, professional edge plus a diffuser to soften the light even more.

Wiring, dimming and installation
Everything runs on safe 24V DC low voltage. The reel arrives with a female DC plug (15cm) at one end — perfect for a plug-in transformer — and two bare wires (15cm) at the other end for hardwiring to a driver inside a cabinet or ceiling. Size your power supply at 10W per meter to leave healthy headroom: a full 5 meter run therefore needs a driver rated accordingly. Cut only on the marked points, every 50mm, and respect polarity when you solder; note that no quick connector is available for this 4mm format, so soldering (or using the factory leads) is the way to go. For dimming, you have two proven paths: a low-voltage dimmer/remote combo installed after the power supply, or a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC wall dimmer.
Where it works and what to read
Homeowners use it under kitchen cabinets, above upper cabinets for a warm ceiling glow, around bathroom mirrors, in closets, under stair treads and inside display niches. Contractors and small businesses put it behind reception desks, under retail shelving, along restaurant bar fronts, in hotel corridors and in office coves — anywhere a clean architectural line beats a visible fixture. The 3000K warm white tone suits residential and hospitality spaces, while the 90+ CRI keeps merchandise, food and finishes looking true.
