This LED strip uses a 2-ounce copper circuit board, a heavier copper weight that helps carry current cleanly along the full 5-meter roll and keeps the strip cool and stable in normal residential use. Electrical, dimming and installation
The strip runs on 24V DC and must be fed by a low-voltage power supply; size it using the recommended 6W per meter figure for the length you actually install. Connections are already on the roll: a female DC plug (17cm) at one end and 2 wires (17cm) at the other, so you can plug into a matching driver or hard-wire as your project requires. It is dimmable two ways — with a low voltage dimmer/remote combo on the DC side, or with a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer. Cut only on the marked points, every 6 LEDs (100mm), and mount on a clean, non-glossy surface; varnished or glossy wood defeats the adhesive, so use a channel or mounting clips there. Heat dissipation is not necessary unless the strip is used in a commercial environment, where an aluminum profile is the smart move.
