Wiring, driver and installationPower comes from an extruded aluminum hardwire box housing a 300 mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver with 100-135 V AC input. An 18" (457 mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links the driver to the fixture and is approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings — handy for commercial retrofits and drop-ceiling offices. Three
Quick Connect push-in terminals make the line, neutral and ground connections fast, and two spring-loaded clips let the fixture attach to any ceiling material. The cut-out is Ø 3 5⁄8" (92 mm); overall fixture dimensions are 4 3⁄8" (111 mm) and 3 3⁄8" (85 mm), with 4 3⁄16" (106 mm), 3 1⁄16" (78 mm) and 15⁄16" (34 mm) references shown on the drawing. Because it is approved for direct contact with insulation and suitable for wet locations, it installs in insulated ceilings, showers and covered exteriors without extra enclosures.
