Wiring and installation
The driver lives in an extruded aluminum hardwire box with a 300 mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver, 100-135V AC input, and three "Quick connect" push-in terminals that turn wiring into a few seconds of work. An 18" (457 mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links the driver to the fixture and is approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings — handy for commercial retrofits. Two spring-loaded clips hold the housing in any ceiling material, making this a true retrofit downlight for a Ø 3 5⁄8" (92 mm) hole.
