Wiring, installation and accessoriesInstallation is genuinely fast. Two spring-loaded clips let the fixture attach to virtually any ceiling material through a Ø 3 5/8" (92 mm) hole cut. The extruded aluminum hardwire box houses a 300 mA dimmable Class II electronic driver with 100-135 V AC input and three "Quick connect" push-in terminals for quick, tool-free wiring. An 18" (457 mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links the driver to the fixture and is approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings. Because the unit is airtight and approved for direct contact with insulation, it works in insulated ceilings without a separate enclosure.
