Construction and light quality
This is a straightforward, well-built white LED strip made for everyday accent work. It uses Epistar 3528 SMD chips mounted at 60 LEDs per meter on a 2-ounce copper circuit board, a heavier board that helps carry current cleanly along the run. The 120° lighting angle spreads a wide, soft wash rather than a narrow beam, which is exactly what you want when the strip is hidden in a cove, under a cabinet or behind a valance. With a typical output of 400 lumens per meter in 2700K warm white and a CRI of 80+, the light stays flattering on wood, stone and warm paint colours — cozy, not clinical. Rated life is 50 000+ hours.

Electrical and installation details
The strip operates on 24V DC and consumes 4.8W per meter; size your driver using the recommended 6W per meter so it isn't running at its limit. Connections are already made for you: a female DC plug (17cm) on one end and two bare wires (17cm) on the other, so you can plug into a matching power supply or hard-wire into a junction box. The roll can be shortened at every cut mark — all 6 LEDs, or every 100mm — and the back carries genuine 3M adhesive. That adhesive is meant for a clean, non-glossy metallic surface; on varnished or glossy wood, mounting clips or an aluminum profile will hold far better over time. Heat dissipation is not necessary in most residential installs, but an aluminum channel is recommended in commercial environments.
Dimming and compatibility
This strip is dimmable two ways: with a low-voltage dimmer/remote combo installed after the power supply, or with a dimmable power supply controlled by a 120V AC dimmer on the line side. Because it is a single-colour 2700K strip, no RGB controller is needed — just steady warm white you can turn down for the evening. Any 24V DC power supply, connector or aluminum profile intended for 8mm-wide LED strip will work with it; just confirm the channel's inner width before ordering.
Applications and documentation
Concrete examples: a continuous cove above kitchen cabinets, under-counter task light in a bar or café, shelf lighting in a retail display, a soft glow along a basement stairwell, backlighting for a bathroom mirror niche or a reception desk in a small office. With iP20 protection it must stay dry and indoors — no bathrooms showers, exterior soffits or unheated garages exposed to moisture.
