Built to be handled, built to lastThe SORA track head is constructed of
die cast aluminum, a material chosen for superior strength and rigidity — important on a fixture people physically grab and re-aim over the years. The softened edges create the low profile aesthetic that makes SORA disappear against a white ceiling, while the serrated sides give your fingers something to hold onto when you're tilting the head from a ladder. The cylindrical shape and clean traditional look make this
directional track head an easy fit in a renovation where you don't want the lighting to shout.
Low voltage done quietlyEach fixture carries its own solid state electronic transformer, which provides noise-free voltage reduction and operation, converting
120V AC to 12V AC right at the head. That means no remote transformer to hide in a ceiling cavity and no audible hum in a quiet dining room or a boutique fitting area. Lamping is done through a porcelain socket for
12V MR16 lamps, 50 watts max, and a high temperature glass shield is included and mounted to the front of the lamp fixture. Because the lamp is a standard MR16, you can tune the look of the room simply by changing beam spread — tight for artwork, wider for a countertop.

Installation, aiming and dimmingInstallation is the easy part: the head twists into a live
track rail and locks, so a single circuit can carry several heads up to the capacity of your track and driver. The adjustable yoke controls the lamp housing and provides custom aiming with
330° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical rotation — enough to wash a wall, graze a stone fireplace or drop a pool of light on a reception desk. On the control side, remember the rule that saves service calls: the fixture is dimmable when used with
electronic low voltage (ELV) rated dimming controls only. Pair it with the wrong dimmer and you'll get flicker or buzz; pair it correctly and you get smooth, quiet dimming. Accessories should be ordered separately.
Compatibility, applications and documentationLITELINE track fixtures are compatible with Juno®, Halo® and most brands configured to Halo® track system design, which makes SORA a practical replacement head when you're refreshing an older track run in a condo, a rental unit or a store. Typical projects: kitchen and island lighting, a hallway gallery of family photos, a home office, a café counter, a hair salon station, a jewellery or clothing display. For multi-finish jobs, the same fixture is available as
Sora track fixture black for darker ceilings and
Sora track fixture brushed nickel for warmer, metallic interiors. The full technical PDF (SO2012-WH-120V Spec Sheet), including the connector compatibility chart and the ordering guide, is available in the Documentation tab — worth printing for the electrician before the rough-in.
