This is the classic cylinder track light head people picture when they shop for track lighting heads: a clean, traditional directional can on an adjustable yoke, ready to drop onto an existing rail and throw light exactly where you want it. It takes a 12V MR16 lamp, so you get that crisp, controlled beam that makes artwork, stone counters, retail shelving and feature walls look expensive. The body is constructed of die cast aluminum for superior strength and rigidity, with softened edges for a low profile look and serrated sides so you can grip and aim it without a fight. The lamp housing rides on an adjustable yoke that gives 330° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical rotation — real custom aiming, not a token tilt. Inside, a solid state electronic transformer converts 120V AC to 12V AC with noise-free operation: 120V / 60Hz input, 12V output, 50W maximum load. Lamping is a porcelain socket for 12V MR16 lamps, 50 watts max, and a high temperature glass shield comes mounted to the front of the fixture. It measures 5-11/16" (144mm) tall, and it's cULus listed. The fixture is dimmable when used with electronic low voltage rated dimming controls only.

The SORA track fixture is constructed of die cast aluminum, which gives it the strength and rigidity a directional head needs when it gets re-aimed season after season, display after display. Light quality and aiming
Lamping is a porcelain socket for 12V MR16 lamps, 50 watts max, with a high temperature glass shield included and mounted to the front of the lamp fixture. MR16 lamping is why designers keep coming back to low voltage track lighting heads: tight, clean beams that sculpt a painting, a backsplash or a merchandising table instead of flooding the whole room. The lamp housing is controlled by an adjustable yoke for custom aiming, with 330° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical rotation, so a single track run can wash a wall, graze a stone feature and spotlight a table all at once.

Electrical, dimming and compatibility
A solid state electronic transformer is built in, providing noise-free voltage reduction and operation — no hum over a quiet dining room or a waiting area. Because it's an electronic low voltage fixture, it is dimmable only with electronic low voltage (ELV) rated dimming controls; standard incandescent or magnetic low voltage dimmers are not the right match. On the mechanical side, Liteline track fixtures are compatible with Juno®, Halo® and most brands configured to Halo® track system design, and the spec sheet includes a connector compatibility chart showing the Juno®, Liteline® and Halo® styles side by side, with 2-5/16" (59mm) and 2-3/8" (60mm) connector references.
