Built to stay straight and stay quietThe LL Series track section is an extruded aluminum body, 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction, with 3⁄64" PVC insulators holding the 12 gauge flat conductor wiring. That matters on a ceiling: the extrusion keeps its line over a 48" (1219 mm) run instead of waving, and the insulators lock the conductors so the heads keep solid contact every time you slide one. A polarity groove is located on the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, which removes the guesswork when you feed power or flip a section around. The
white track rail finish is the one most people choose for painted drywall ceilings, since the low-profile shape reads as a thin line rather than a fixture.
Electrical, the short versionThis is a single-circuit track for
120V applications. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for 20 amps per branch circuit, and the system electrical rating is 20A, 120V, 60Hz. Copper electrical conductors are concealed in an insulating thermoplastic low-profile rack cross-section, so nothing live is exposed along the face. Track lighting is a single circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways — in plain words, one feed point powers every head you hang on the rail, and adding a head later is a two-second job instead of a new circuit.

Feeds, joints and suspensionThe Liteline track system is compatible with all Liteline track accessories and connectors, and the family is broad enough to cover almost any ceiling. Power it with the LE6110 live-end, the LE6111 live-end with canopy from a junction box, the WE6110 wired-end from a receptacle, the CA6106 live-end conduit feed with 7⁄8" knockout for top or end feed, or the CF6108 center feed that brings power anywhere along the run and includes a canopy cover. Join sections with the IC6101 I-connector at 180°, the LC6102 L-connector at 90°, the TC6103 T-connector for three sections at 90°, the XC6104 X-connector for four sections at 90°, or the FC6105 flexible connector for varying angles. Close the run with the TK6000-END end cap, and drop the rail off a high or sloped ceiling with the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit, which includes ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware, plus the RODR62 rod to suspend track from the ceiling and the RODF62 rod for track fixtures. Accessories are sold separately.
Where it earns its keep, and what to readIn a home, one 4-ft section over a kitchen counter replaces a flat ceiling fixture with light you can actually aim at the cutting board; in a living room it washes a gallery wall; in a basement office it keeps glare off the screen. In retail, run several sections down a display aisle and re-aim the heads whenever the merchandise moves — the same reason salons, cafés and small galleries keep coming back to track. Sections join end to end for long continuous runs, and the matching finishes make mixed layouts look intentional:
