The APOLLO low voltage track fixture (SKU AO1012-BK-120V) from LITELINE is a die cast aluminum track light head built for 12V MR16 lamps, finished in classic black. Under the hood, APOLLO carries a solid state electronic transformer that delivers noise-free voltage reduction: 120V AC in, 12V AC out, with a 50W maximum load. Aiming is generous and precise — 320° horizontal rotation and 160° vertical rotation — and the angle stays locked where you set it. The die cast aluminum body gives superior strength and rigidity, with softened edges for that low profile look. The fixture measures 4-5/8" (117mm) with a 3" (76mm) and 5-1/8" (130mm) profile as shown on the spec sheet, and it is dimmable when used with electronic low voltage rated dimming controls only. It is cULus listed, so it's ready for Canadian residential and commercial projects.

Built to last, built to aim
The APOLLO head is constructed of die cast aluminum, which gives it superior strength and rigidity — no flex, no rattle, no sagging after a few re-aims. The softened edges are part of the design language: they keep the silhouette low profile so the fixture reads as a discreet accent rather than a piece of equipment bolted to the ceiling. The black finish disappears against dark ceilings and creates a deliberate graphic line against white ones, which is why black track lighting heads remain a favourite of designers and contractors alike.

Light quality and lamping
APOLLO uses a porcelain socket for 12V MR16 lamps, 50 watts max, so you choose the beam spread, the colour temperature and the output that suit the job — narrow spot for artwork, flood for a general wash. A high temperature glass shield is included and comes mounted to the front of the lamp fixture. Because the lamp is user-selected, one track run can do several jobs at once: tight beams on the art, wider beams on the counter.

Electrical, transformer and dimming
A solid state electronic transformer handles the step-down with noise-free operation — no hum over a quiet dining room. Input is 120V / 60Hz, output is 12V, with a 50W maximum load per fixture. The fixture is dimmable when used with electronic low voltage rated dimming controls only; using the correct ELV-rated control is essential for smooth, flicker-free dimming.
