The SORA SO2012-BK-120V from LITELINE is a low voltage track lighting head in black — the kind of track light head people look for when they want directional, adjustable light on an existing rail without redoing the ceiling. Cylindrical shape, clean traditional lines and softened edges keep it discreet, while the serrated sides give you something to grip when you aim it. Whether you are lighting a kitchen island, a gallery wall, a display case or a boutique's feature shelf, this is the classic track fixture that does the job and disappears into the decor.

The body is constructed of die cast aluminum for superior strength and rigidity, finished in black (BK), with a compact profile measuring 5-11/16" (144mm) tall and 2-5/16" (59mm) / 2-3/8" (60mm) across the connector area. Inside, a solid state electronic transformer converts 120V AC to 12V AC with noise-free voltage reduction and operation — no hum over your dining table. It accepts 12V MR16 lamps on a porcelain socket, 50 watts max, and a high temperature glass shield comes mounted to the front of the lamp fixture. The adjustable yoke gives you 330° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical rotation for truly custom aiming, and the fixture is dimmable when used with electronic low voltage rated dimming controls only (120V / 60Hz input, 12V output, 50W maximum load). It is cULus listed.

Built to be handled, aimed and forgotten
The SORA track head is constructed of die cast aluminum, a material chosen for superior strength and rigidity — it holds its aim and it holds up to being re-pointed season after season. The softened edges add up to a low profile aesthetic design that blends into the ceiling line instead of fighting with it, and the serrated sides are there for a reason: you can grip and rotate the head cleanly, even with one hand up a ladder. The cylindrical shape and clean traditional look make this directional track head an easy match for both heritage interiors and modern open-concept spaces.

Light quality and lamping
A porcelain socket accepts 12V MR16 lamps, 50 watts max, so you choose the beam spread and the colour of light that suits the room — a tight beam for artwork, a wider flood for a kitchen counter. A high temperature glass shield is included, mounted to the front of the lamp fixture. Because the head is low voltage, you get the crisp, controlled beam MR16 optics are known for, driven by a solid state electronic transformer that provides noise-free voltage reduction and operation, converting 120V AC to 12V AC right inside the fixture.

Installation is straightforward: the head clips into the track connector and takes power from the rail, so there is no junction box work and no rewiring for each fixture. The transformer is built in — 120V / 60Hz input, 12V output, 50W maximum load — which keeps the ceiling clean. One important detail for your electrician or for your own planning: the track fixture is dimmable when used with electronic low voltage rated dimming controls only. Using the correct ELV-rated dimmer is what gives you smooth, quiet dimming; anything else is not supported. The adjustable yoke then lets you fine-tune the aim, 330° horizontally and 90° vertically, after everything is energized. The fixture is cULus listed.

Compatibility, applications and documentation
Liteline track fixtures are compatible with Juno®, Halo® and most brands configured to Halo® track system design, which makes the SORA a practical replacement head on existing rails as well as a first choice on a new run.
