Solid extruded constructionThe LL Series TK60 track is an extruded aluminum channel with flat, solid integral conductors, engineered so the electrical side stays completely hidden. The body uses 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction, and 3⁄64" PVC insulators hold the 12 gauge flat conductor wiring in place. The copper electrical conductors are concealed in an insulating thermoplastic low profile rack cross-section, which keeps the
track rail slim and discreet on the ceiling. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor — a small detail that saves time when you're joining several sections and want every head to sit the same way.
Electrical and installation detailsThis is a
single-circuit track for 120V applications: one hot and one neutral conductor, rated for 20 amps per branch circuit. The system electrical rating is 20A, 120V, 60Hz. Track lighting is a single circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways, so the run can be fed at the end with a live-end (LE6110), at the end from a junction box with a live-end with canopy (LE6111), from a receptacle with a wired-end (WE6110), from anywhere along the run with a centre feed (CF6108) that includes a canopy cover, or through a live-end conduit feed with a 7⁄8" knockout (CA6106) for top or end feed. Finish the open end with an end cap (TK6000-END). Power connections must be made by a qualified electrician according to the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements.

Connectors, layouts and compatibilityThe LITELINE track system is compatible with all LITELINE track accessories and connectors, so a straight 6-foot run is only the starting point. Join two sections in a straight line with an I-connector (IC6101), turn a corner at 90° with an L-connector (LC6102), branch three sections with a T-connector (TC6103), build a cross with an X-connector (XC6104), or follow an angled wall with a flexible connector (FC6105) that joins two sections at varying angles. For open ceilings, cathedral slopes or drop runs over an island, hollow stem rod kits are available: TDR62 for track suspension, which includes the ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware, RODR62 to suspend track from the ceiling, and RODF62 for track fixtures. Accessories are sold separately, which lets you build exactly the layout your room needs.
Where it works and what's availableThink kitchens where you want three or four heads washing the counter, hallways and stairwells lined with art, basements and lofts with no room for recessed cans, plus small businesses: a boutique window, a café counter, a hair salon station, a gallery or a showroom that changes displays every season. Because heads slide anywhere along the rail, a tenant improvement or a reno can be re-aimed in minutes instead of being re-wired. Matching sections are available in other finishes —
TK6006-WH white,
TK6006-BN brushed nickel and
TK6006-SL silver — and complete packages such as the
track kit TK6006-BK-KIT or the
track kit TK6006-WH-KIT. The full technical PDF spec sheet, with the drawings, ordering guide and accessory list, is in the Documentation tab.
