Solid extrusion, clean linesThe TK60 series is an extruded aluminum
track rail with flat, solid integral conductors rated at 20 amps. The body is 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction, and inside it, 3⁄64" PVC insulators hold 12 gauge flat conductor wiring in place. That combination gives you a rail that stays straight over a long run, resists the knocks of a busy renovation site and keeps its finish looking sharp once the ceiling is painted and the heads are installed. The cross-section is deliberately low profile — ¾" (21mm) by 1 3⁄8" (35mm) — so an 8-foot run reads as a thin architectural line rather than a bulky channel.
Electrical design and safetyThis is a single circuit track for 120V applications. The single hot and neutral conductors are rated for 20 Amps per branch circuit, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed in an insulating thermoplastic low profile track cross-section, so nothing conductive is exposed once the rail is up. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, which removes the guesswork when you orient the rail and clip in your
track light heads. Remember that track lighting is a single circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways — one feed, many fixtures, endless aiming options.

Installation and compatible accessoriesTrack sections can be joined together using any of the compatible track connectors, so you are never limited to a single straight run. Feed the rail with a live-end conduit feed CA6106 (7⁄8" knockout, top or end feed), a live-end LE6110 with no canopy, a live-end with canopy LE6111 from a junction box, a wired-end WE6110 from a receptacle, or a center feed CF6108 that brings power anywhere along the track and includes a canopy cover. Shape the layout with the I-connector IC6101 at 180°, the L-connector LC6102 at 90°, the T-connector TC6103 for three sections at 90°, the X-connector XC6104 for four sections at 90°, or the flexible connector FC6105 to join two sections at varying angles. Finish the run with the TK6000-END end cap, and drop the track away from a high or sloped ceiling with the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit (ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware included), the RODR62 rod to suspend track from the ceiling or the RODF62 rod for track fixtures. The Liteline track system is compatible with all Liteline track accessories and connectors; accessories are sold separately.
Where it works and what's documentedUse this white rail over a kitchen island or peninsula, along a hallway with artwork, in a finished basement, a home office or a loft with exposed structure, and in small businesses such as boutiques, salons, galleries, cafés and showrooms where displays move often. In white, it disappears into standard painted drywall ceilings — for other looks, the same 8-foot section exists as the
LL Series track TK6008-BK, the
LL Series track TK6008-BN and the
LL Series track TK6008-SL. The full technical PDF (TK6008-WH Spec Sheet) with technical drawings, the ordering guide and the complete accessory list is available in the Documentation tab.
