Construction and designThis
LED neon flex is built on a flexible silicone body measuring only 10 mm x 10 mm (0.39" x 0.39"), with side flanges that sit against the mounting surface. Those flanges are the detail installers appreciate: they mask small imperfections along the run and keep the light line looking crisp even when the substrate is not perfect. The silicone diffuses the diodes into a solid, seamless glow, which is exactly what you want in a cabinet where the light source sits close to the eye. Free cutting means you size each run to the cabinet, the shelf or the display case instead of forcing your layout to match a fixed length.
Light qualityWith
130 LEDs per metre, there are no visible dots and no scalloped shadows on the counter below. The
3000K warm white creates a comfortable, hospitality-style ambiance, while a
CRI above 80 renders wood grain, stone veining, food and merchandise colours honestly. Output is
420 lm/m for a draw of only
8 W/m, a combination that gives real task light under upper cabinets while using a fraction of the energy of halogen puck lights — with none of their heat inside closed cabinetry.

Electrical and installationBecause it operates on
24V DC, this
cabinet neon flex needs a low-voltage LED driver sized for the total length you install: add up the metres, multiply by 8 W/m, and choose a driver with comfortable headroom. Low voltage also makes it friendlier to work with inside furniture and millwork, and lets you route long runs with fewer worries. Plan the driver location in an accessible, ventilated spot such as a cabinet gable or a service cavity, respect the manufacturer's cut marks when you shorten a run, and seal any cut end properly before powering up. Mount the flex so the emitting face points toward the counter or shelf rather than toward the user, and the glare simply disappears.
Applications, alternatives and documentationKitchen cabinet undersides, pantry and closet shelving, glass display cases in jewellery and bakery shops, floating bathroom vanities, reception desks, bar backs, wine cellars and custom furniture all suit this format. In a Canadian kitchen renovation, one 30 m roll typically covers an entire upper-cabinet layout with cut lengths to spare. If you need a wider profile or a different colour temperature, look at the
