FLEX NEON - 3X6MM - 24V - 9.6W - 40K

FLEX NEON - 3X6MM - 24V - 9.6W - 40K

SKU: LCLS24VFLX-3X6-9.6W-40K

Brand: LEDCO

Give your project that continuous, glowing line everyone stops to look at. This LED neon flex — also called flexible LED neon rope light, LED flex sign tubing or simply neon LED — replaces old glass neon with a bendable silicone-style strip that lights up evenly, with no dots and no hot spots. At only 3x6mm, it is one of the slimmest profiles you can install, which makes it the go-to for signage letters, logos, cove ceilings, stair nosings, handrails, shelving reveals, bar fronts and slim architectural grooves where a standard LED strip would look like a row of little dots.

Under the hood, this run delivers 9.6W per metre at 24V DC, producing 250 lumens per metre at 26 lumens per watt with a beautiful CRI 90+ that keeps wood, paint, skin tones and brand colours looking true. The 60º beam angle concentrates the light exactly where you aim it, and the whole product is dimmable, so you can go from full output down to a soft evening glow. Built for real-world conditions, it carries an IP66 protection rating and a rated lifespan of 50 000+ hours, with RoHS and CE compliance, EN 60529 protection class, EN 62031 / IEC 60598-1 safety requirements, EN 55015 EMC and IEC 62471 eye security. Maximum run length is 5m, the cut size is 33.33mm, the PCB width is 4mm, and the minimum bending diameter is 60mm.

It shines in restaurants, cafés, salons, gyms, retail displays and home theatres, and just as well in Canadian basements, garages, kitchen toe-kicks and covered outdoor soffits — the operating range of -20°C to 45°C suits our seasons when installed in a suitable location. SKU LCLS24VFLX-3X6-9.6W-40K is part of a full family: pick the Neon Flex 9.6W/m 3x6mm for a warmer tone, the Flex Neon 3x6mm 24V 9.6W 30 metres for long runs, the softer Flex Neon 6W/m 6x6mm, or the Flex Neon anti-glare 10x10mm 24V 9.6W 20M for glare-sensitive spaces. Sketch your line, measure it, and let's light it.

Built to bend, built to last
The whole idea behind LED neon flex is a continuous line of light instead of visible diodes. The compact 3x6mm body diffuses the LEDs into a smooth glow, and the 4mm PCB inside keeps the product flexible enough to follow curves, letters and coves. The minimum bending diameter is 60mm, and the strip can be bent perpendicular to the PCB board — but never twisted, and never bent right where the circuit board sits. All bending angles must stay greater than 60°; tighter or repeated bends can damage the electronic circuits inside. Cuts are made vertically, only on the marked cutting lines identified by a scissor logo on the PCB at the bottom of the product, every 33.33mm. When unrolling, insert a rod into the scroll, set it on the packing box and rotate it — never swing or pull the product.

Light quality you can trust
With a CRI 90+, this neon LED renders colours far more faithfully than the old fluorescent tubes it often replaces — a real advantage over illuminated signage, merchandise, backsplashes and feature walls where a colour shift would be obvious. The 60º lighting angle gives a defined, controlled line rather than a wash, and output sits at 250 lumens per metre for 9.6W per metre (26 LM/W). Keep in mind the typical tolerances: power may vary by ±10%, and brightness or colour temperature differences under 10% are considered normal.

Electrical and installation notes
This is a 24V DC product, so it needs a constant-voltage 24V driver sized for your total run; do not run the power supply at full load, and confirm before powering on that wiring is correct and voltage does not exceed the rated value by more than 0.5V. Maximum length per run is 5m. Installation must be performed by qualified electricians, with the product fully disconnected during the work — never install it powered on. At 9.6W/m the product stays under the 14.4W/m threshold, so no extra heat sink is required on an aluminum profile. Avoid acidic or alkaline glues, organic chemical solvents and sharp tools on the surface, and don't stretch the strip horizontally while fixing it. At every splice, make the connection secure and add proper insulation, waterproofing and anti-corrosion treatment. Never disassemble or modify the structure or length of the strip.

Applications, family and documentation
Think channel letters and logo signs for a storefront, a glowing perimeter in a suspended ceiling, under-counter lines at a reception desk or bar, stair and handrail lighting in a condo lobby, display case accents in a boutique, or a clean line in a home theatre or basement bar. Its IP66 rating also opens the door to damp and demanding spots such as covered soffits and garages. Need other options? Compare with the warmer Neon Flex 9.6W/m 3x6mm, the long-format Flex Neon 3x6mm 24V 9.6W 30 metres, the 6x6mm body of the Flex Neon 6W/m 6x6mm, or the Flex Neon anti-glare 10x10mm.
