Built small on purposeThe
FLEX NEON 8W/M - CABINET is moulded in flexible silicone in a
10 mm × 10 mm (0.39" × 0.39") square section — about as compact as a neon flex gets. That matters inside furniture, where a channel is often only a few millimetres deep and a bulky strip simply won't fit or will show its reflection on the countertop. The silicone body bends along curves and corners in the horizontal plane, and the
side flanges built into the profile hide the small gaps, glue lines and saw marks that are part of real-world cabinet work. The result is a seamless line of light instead of a visible strip with hot spots.
Light quality you can trust in a kitchenWith
130 LEDs/m, the emitters sit close enough together that the diffused silicone blends them into one uniform band — no scalloping on the backsplash, no dotting on glass shelves. The
3000K warm white colour temperature was chosen for living spaces: it warms up white cabinetry, brings out the grain in oak and walnut, and makes food and merchandise look appetizing. A
CRI greater than 80 keeps colours honest, which is exactly what you want over a cutting board, inside a jewellery case or above a bar's bottle display. At
420 lm/m, it delivers a genuine task-level glow under upper cabinets while staying gentle enough for ambience.

Wiring and installationThis is a
24V DC low-voltage product, so it needs a
LED driver / power supply sized for the total load: multiply 8 W by the number of metres installed and choose a driver with comfortable headroom. Plan the driver location during the cabinet layout — inside a toe-kick, above a bulkhead or in an adjacent closet — and keep the low-voltage run short and tidy. The
free cut design lets you trim each section to the exact cabinet width, and runs should be fed and connected according to the polarity marked on the flex. Clean and dry the mounting surface before installing, avoid tight vertical bends or twisting the profile, and never power the flex while it is still coiled. If you want the light aimed rather than spilling forward, recess it into a shallow groove at the front edge of the cabinet bottom.
Applications and documentationThink kitchen
under-cabinet lighting, glass display cabinets, open shelving, floating vanities and medicine cabinets, wardrobe and pantry interiors, stair nosings, bar fronts, reception desks, retail showcases and small illuminated lettering where a
LED neon sign effect is the goal. Contractors and cabinetmakers across Canada use it as the finishing touch that makes custom millwork look built-in rather than added on. Need more output, a different colour temperature or a larger profile for coves and signage? Compare with the
Flex neon 3x6mm 24V 9.6W 40K and the
