Built for the ASTELLA H-type systemThe AST-TRK-H-FC-WH is a
flexible connector designed specifically for the ASTELLA Track System in its H-type, single-circuit configuration. Unlike a rigid L or T joiner, a flex connector lets you set the angle between two track sections, so a run can wrap a bulkhead, follow a non-square wall, or continue across a stepped ceiling without cutting the design short. Its white finish is chosen to match white ASTELLA track and blend into painted drywall or plaster ceilings, keeping the eye on the
track light heads rather than on the hardware between them.

Electrical and installation detailsAlways shut off power at the main panel before installing track or accessories. Before sliding the connector in, loosen the set screws — this applies to all connector types in the family. Select the proper grounding tab: to maintain circuit polarity, the ground tabs on connectors must be prepared before sliding onto the NON-GROUND conductor side of the track section you are joining, and if the wrong tab has been removed, the connector must not be used because grounding will no longer be maintained. Slide the connector squarely into the open end of the rail, keep the polarity lines aligned, and tighten the set screws. Once all rails and connectors are in place, make sure dead-end fittings are slid into ALL open ends of the track and the set screws tightened before turning the power back on. With
IP20 protection, this is an indoor, dry-location accessory — not for exterior or wet areas.
Compatibility and system planningThis connector joins H-type single-circuit ASTELLA rails and is part of the same accessory family as the live end, end, dead-end, L, T, X and mini-joiner fittings listed for the system (AST-TRK-H-LEC, AST-TRK-H-EC, AST-TRK-H-XC, AST-TRK-H-LC, AST-TRK-H-MJ, AST-TRK-H-TC, AST-TRK-H-SC, AST-TRK-H-FC). Pair it with
AST Track 4 ft H type 1 circuit white or
AST Track 8 ft H type 1 circuit white for longer runs, or with
AST Track 2 ft H type 1 circuit black and
AST Track 6 ft H type 1 circuit black when your project uses the black version of the rail. For safety, only fixture assemblies marked for use with TUROLIGHT track should be mounted on the system, and all local installation requirements must be respected.
Where it earns its keep, and documentationThink of a boutique where the
track lighting follows the perimeter and turns at an obtuse corner, a gallery wall that meets a sloped ceiling, a restaurant bar that bends, or a renovated basement where the beam layout is anything but square — that's where a flexible connector saves a redesign. Contractors like it because it absorbs the small angle errors that older Canadian homes and mid-century commercial spaces are full of. To mount the rail itself, holes are drilled in the ceiling or wall: on drywall or plaster, 5/8 mounting holes are drilled and toggle bolts (supplied) are used; on wood surfaces, standard #10 wood screws (not supplied) are used. Lampholders install by aligning the polarity lines, pushing the top of the mounting adapter with the contact tabs into the track slot and turning 90°; to remove, press the release lever and turn 90°. spec sheet and installation instructions (AST-TRK-H-FC-WH Spec Sheet) are available in the Documentation tab.
