What this accessory does
The AST-TRK-H-EC-WH is the dead-end cap for the TUROLIGHT ASTELLA H-type single circuit track system. A track rail is an open extruded channel with copper conductors inside; wherever the run stops, that channel stays open. The end cap closes it. It blocks access to the conductors, keeps the inside of the rail free of dust and debris, and squares off the profile so the run reads as one deliberate line on the ceiling or wall. In white, it blends with white ASTELLA rails so your track lighting looks factory-finished rather than improvised.

Installation and electrical detail
Work safe and work in order. Shut off the breaker at the main panel before installing any track or accessory — the instructions are explicit about cutting power first. Before sliding any connector into the open end of the rail, loosen the set screws on the connector; forcing a tight connector into the channel is how conductors get damaged. Slide the cap into the open end of the track, then tighten the set screws. Polarity matters on this system: the polarity line on the rail and on the lampholder must be aligned, and on powered connectors the ground tabs have to be prepared before sliding onto the non-ground conductor side of the section you are joining — if the wrong tab has been removed, that connector must not be used because grounding will not be maintained. Local installation requirements must be respected, and to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, only fixture assemblies marked for use with TUROLIGHT track should go on the rail.

This cap belongs to a full accessory set for the H-type single circuit system, which also includes live end feeds, straight, L, T, X and flexible connectors and mounting joints (AST-TRK-H-LEC, AST-TRK-H-SC, AST-TRK-H-LC, AST-TRK-H-TC, AST-TRK-H-XC, AST-TRK-H-FC, AST-TRK-H-MJ).
