What the Mini Joiner actually does
The Mini Joiner is the straight, in-line connector of the Turolight Astella Track System. Where a standard straight connector adds a visible link between two rails, the mini version keeps the junction as short and as discreet as possible — a compact 79.3 mm body that mechanically locks two track sections together while transferring power from one to the next. That gives you one continuous H-type track circuit fed from a single live end, instead of several independent runs each needing their own feed. For designers and contractors, it's the simplest way to hit a length that no single rail delivers on its own.

Construction and materials
The Astella framework is built around a 6063 aluminum alloy extrusion with a consistent 1/32" wall thickness, which gives superior dimensional precision and strength — rails stay straight, and connectors seat tightly with no play at the joint. The electrical path uses 12-gauge flat copper conductor wiring, chosen so conductivity stays consistent across any run length; that's what keeps brightness even across the whole layout without dimming or flickering at the far end. The high-performance PC housing holds its geometry for life through years of thermal cycling: fire-safe, heat-stable, halogen-free, with no yellowing or embrittlement over time. Installation and compatibility
Plan the layout first: measure the wall or ceiling line, then combine Astella rail lengths — 4 ft (1219 mm), 6 ft (1829 mm), 8 ft (2438 mm) and 12 ft, with 2 ft made to order — and place a Mini Joiner at each straight junction. Power comes in through the live end connector, and the rest of the run is fed through the joiners. As always, cut power at the panel before working on a live circuit, and have the final connection made by a licensed electrician in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code and your municipal requirements. Important: this accessory is designed for Astella H-type single-circuit track only — it is not a universal joiner, so keep the whole run within the AST family. The white finish matches the white rails and white accessories of the same series; black components exist for darker ceilings.
