The AST LENS FOR 20W - WF55 is a replaceable optical accessory for the 20W head of the TUROLIGHT AST track family. It carries no electronics: no LED board, no driver, no wiring. Its only job is to reshape the light that the 20W head already emits, turning a narrower distribution into a wide flood pattern that covers more surface with a softer edge. That makes it one of the least expensive ways — in time and in labour — to change the look of a space that is already wired and trimmed.

Why a wide flood changes a room
Beam angle is the single most underrated spec in track lighting. A tight beam creates drama and pinpoints a product, a sculpture or a bottle display; a wide flood does the opposite, blending pools of light together so a wall, a shelving unit or a long counter reads as one continuous, even surface. If your store or living room shows scalloping on the walls, visible hot spots on the floor, or dark gaps between heads, switching to a wide flood lens usually fixes it faster than adding fixtures. It also lets you space heads farther apart on the same run while keeping coverage smooth — fewer heads, less clutter on the ceiling, same result.

Installation and compatibility

Handle the lens by its edges: fingerprints on an optical surface scatter light and dull the output.
